Good stuff — If you like a lot of toppings this is your kind of pizza. More bang for your buck with the toppings including lots and lots of cheese. For me, cheese is good in moderation so the added grease it brings is a slight turn off. But if you’re a «more the better» kind of cheese fan, try this pizza. Also — if you’re looking for unique in the area of sauce — not so much here(kind of bland). My family and friends love DJ’s. OK for me just not my favorite.

I can’t believe that I’m the 1st one to review DJ’s Pizza Alley. We no longer live in Ohio, were 20 year residents of Tipp City until were forced to move for job reasons. I also grew up in Bethel Township and worked at Fring’s Furniture in High School so my experience with it is extensive(I remember when Smitty’s Pizza was there. but that’s a different episode).but I digress… DJ’s Pizza is, bar none, the best pizza in the area, and having moved to Texas, the land of mediocre at best pizza, I get a serious jones for it every month or so… What can I say about the restaurant itself? let’s see, it’s small(no seating area except a couple of plastic chairs along to wall to sit in while waiting for your order) the parking is non-existant, and the décor looks like it hasn’t been changed since the guy who owned it before Smitty(and it was Smitty’s before I can remember)… but that’s all beside the point. the pizza is excellent. the crust is not ‘thick crust’ or ‘thin crust’ its just right. the sauce is tasty without being overpowering, the pepperoni is a bit spicy, but not overly so, the toppings are fresh and generous and the staff is friendly and will probably remember you the next time you come in… my typical order is a large pep, sausage and ‘shroom for Mom and the girls, and a med double cheese(not extra cheese, DOUBLE cheese) double pepperoni and green olives… and oddly enough, they never had to ask my name when I ordered. go figure. always prepared to perfection and ready to go when they told me. I always called it in, and always picked it up(delivery is available, but too slow for me. I get to eat faster if I go after it) Ahhhh…(shudder)… sorry, was having a moment there just thinking about it. oh well, the parents, in-laws, kids and brother still live in Tipp City, and it’s only a 19 hour drive. I’ll find an excuse to get back for some soon I hope.
