Lindt and Lindor truffles don’t need any introduction. These chocolate morsels just melt in your mouth when you bite into them. This store is very much like the one on 5th Avenue in Manhattan I’ve been to. This location really isn’t an outlet, though. Prices here are generally around the same in price as those in the city, but the selection here is large, varied, and fresh. Many varieties are certified kosher Kof K-Dairy, and they have a large array of sizes and flavors to choose from. Lindt has jumped on the salted caramel bandwagon(one of the biggest fads/crazes in food of the past couple years, along with Sriracha, Farm to Table, kale, and offal meats, don’t get me started) and those truffles were pretty good. My companion tried a few free samples of the milk chocolate truffles, which seems to be the biggest draw of this place. You can replenish some of the calories burned hoofing it around the outlets with some creamy chocolatey goodness. As for me, it’s a no go, since I only eat chalav yisrael(a higher level of kosher observance which only permits consuming certain dairy products).

If you have a sweet tooth, and love chocolate, then this is one store you would not want to miss. Would be 4.5 stars — This really isn’t an outlet store, but that doesn’t mean you have to skip this place. If you’re not familiar with this brand, but you do like Ghirardelli chocolate, then you might want to give this place a try. Believe it or not, Lindt owns Ghirardelli. I’ve always liked Lindt ever since I was a little kid. Lindt used to have stores in Woodbridge(closest), Menlo Park, Bridgewater, and Woodbury Commons Premium before making the disappointing decision of closing all of them down. Maybe you remember those locations personally. Now the closest locations from my area appear to be in NYC and here. What I’ve always liked about Lindt was the taste, which was never too sweet for me, compared to other brands(NOT including Ghirardelli). I’ve always loved their truffles and specialty bars. I’ll settle with either 90% dark(YES — I LIKEIT), milk, or white, since they’re all good to me! Usually I end up getting that good stuff at Lindt’s stores. The store size of this particular location was no different than the ones on 5th Avenue(small to medium sized), and it looked nice and clean. The place also smelled like chocolate too, which was nice. Bagged truffles and specialty bars were neatly aligned on both sides of the store. In the middle of the store was the area where you could bag up your own assortment of truffles. They even carried some imported bars too, and since some unique flavors grabbed my attention, I snagged a couple(check my pics). In regards to pricing, don’t expect to pay extreme low prices here. Whenever an item is on sale, then the price is good. The prices for the imported chocolate bars were higher than their regular specialty ones, but hey, I probably can’t get that good stuff elsewhere. What I’ve liked about the Lindt stores was their promo«Buy 3, Get 1 Free» deal on certain varieties of bars, mix or matched. The imported bars counted toward the promo, which was nice. Customer service in this store was good. The employees were nice and friendly. As I waited in line to pay, an employee came out and gave everyone in the store samples of their classic milk chocolate truffle. Ahh yeah, I’ve always loved the samples at the Lindt stores. :) This store also had the Beverage Bar. This was where they melted truffles so they could turn it into hot chocolate. This wasn’t operational at the time I was there, but I’m guessing because it was Summer and no one wanted to drink anything that was hot. Maybe I’ll bring a friend who has a sweet tooth and come here sometime during the Winter so we could try their hot chocolate. I’m definitely a fan of this store — no doubt about that! :)

There goes my diet again. Time to loosen the belt another notch. Oh, there are no notches left? Eff me. Don’t even bother with the Godiva store here in the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. Lindt Chocolates rocks! The amount of chocolate truffle flavors here is foodgasm inducing. Mix and match a bag or gift box to take home. Fair prices too. Really helpful staff. They also make awesome hot chocolate at this location. You pick the flavor and they melt the truffles right into it. Oh. My. God. Just skip the lame food court hot chocolate water and come here!
