This is off the beaten path but well worth the trip! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! If you live at the shore or are visiting please do yourself a favor and go here! Every time I go to the shore I am reminded that the Mexican food in NYC is not great! Sometimes I forget just how much better the Mexican food at the shore is. This is an example of that! The pictures might look like every other Mexican but wow it is loaded with flavor. Not a big sloppy cheesy mess! Each dish had a separate distinct flavor. The only downside is that it closes early 8:30PM on Labor Day weekend. Also due to not being in an obvious spot where tourists can see them, it is mainly locals who go here. In fact I was refereed here by a local who does not usually like Mexican food. So due to lack of business the menu is limited. It is an interesting menu. They have authentic Mexican dishes and Tex Mex such as Chili Relleno which we got in a combination plate. It was light and tasty, not greasy. If it was NYC it would be 5 stars easy but compared to some of the other Jersey shore Mexican restaurants it is 4 stars. I really hope more people go because the waitress said they have specialties that they want to serve but there are not enough customers to justify making the extra food. I will be back for sure, incredible!

Had the burrito dinner with beef to go back at my hotel room; very good. Two large burritos(could only eat one) with beans and rice, also chips and hot sauce. $ 15.00

Ahh good Mexican food is finally spreading all around NJ. This place opened a while back much to my delight. I can now get good Mexican near my parents. The restaurant is very un-assuming from the outside. It looks closed due to the shaded windows. When you enter its a normal space like any other Mexican restaurant. The Food is great. The enchiladas. The rolled«taquitos» and the burritos. ALLEXCELLENT. the only issue I found was with the chicken tacos… Dry and not enough sauce. I had to had hot sauce just to even them out… Other than that I think this is the best Mexican until Los Caminos De Don Chucho… and sometimes thats too far and I don’t have the time to sit down for that long.
