I’m not exactly sure what these other reviews are about but I’ve been going to this salon for 15+ years and everyone I know know also goes here. I don’t think I have ever seen a more professional salon owner. And a salon owner who is licensed and practicing hair for over 30 years from what I hear. I’ve had my hair done for numerous events and I’ve never walked out not satisfied. In fact I would say the amount of complements I receive is a reward in itself. And the makeup artist is fabulous! She knows her stuff! I don’t trust anyone with my makeup but her I trust.

The lady is very rude and stingy. As long as you pay they will be nice to you and if you don’t like something they get mad. Very cocky people and overpriced

I would not recommend this salon. The owner is unprofessional and she does not have experienced employees.

You will never walk out disappointed! The staff is really nice and very skilled. This is the best place to do hair and make up for any event and their rates are reasonable, especially compared to other high-​end salons.

Where do I start? Let me just say, the make up artist does her job great. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the hairstylist. I waited 6 hours to get my hair done in simple curls. SIMPLE CURLS. There are 3 or 4 girls that only curl/​blow dry your hair. There is only one person that styles it and it takes forever to get out. Don’t come here if you need to be somewhere at a certain time. After a horrible experience I DID NOT want to tip. After I paid I was waiting for my change but the owner just took the change and gave it to one of her workers without even asking me. Never again.

Came her to get my hair cut since I wear a hijab. Was recommended to me by my relative who also wears a hijab. First thing I noticed was that the main window was see-​through into the salon. I asked if the blinds could be turned down, the owner reassured me that nobody could see through and that most of the women who work in the salon also wear the hijab (head scarf). After the hair cut I went outside and looked back in and you could see everyone in the salon! The haircut itself was ok — no shampoo or offer to style. Cost was 20 $. The woman who cut my hair was the owner and seemed unprofessional. She kept stopping cutting my hair to answer phone calls. Not coming here again!

If it was up to me, I wouldn’t even give a 1 star.
First of all, if you book with these people months in advance, don’t expect any good out of it. I booked two months in advance, only to find her booking more and more people to come in same day while I waited my turn. We were a party of 20, and although having booked much sooner than needed, she didn’t provide some of us any service since she had others booked the same time as us.
They were very very rude and disrespectful. I spent $ 65 for my little 6 year old on an updo which consisted of a simple braid and a sock bun which by the way began to fall apart as soon as we got into the car. If you do decide to opt for a sock bun, be prepared to pay a $ 20 deposit, you won’t get back unless you return it back.

This is the go to salon if you have a special event and want to WOW everyone. I have gone to Hiam for my engagement, bridal shower, my own wedding, other weddings and she never siezes to amaze me. She even does a flawless job with coloring hair as well. Her daught is amazing at make up and it never looks like its caked on. Great talented people here. I will always go here.

I have been here Twice to have my hair done for special occasions! The first time they took me it was last minute and they squeezed me in and I got nothing but compliments the entire night! Madeline did my makeup and she does BEYOND an amazing job! My make up didn’t look caked on it made me feel like a celebrity. She is fast and very careful with everything she puts on your face you will never walk out of there looking like a clown. Both times that she did my make up I swear I woke up the next morning and it still looked like I had just got it done even after a night of dancing and partying. Not to mention her mom! Who does an amazing job on hair… she takes one look at you takes in your ideas and does updos that you will NOT see on anyone else. The staff is fun and keep you entertained the entire time! I completely love this place!
