Great product, great service, friendly and hospitable staff. I love their coffees and pastries. They have quite the variety of flavors and styles to choose from. My husband and I just tried the chorizo scrambler for breakfast. It was delicious. The menu may be limited, but it’s all the breakfast essentials that someone would want. The prices are fair too. I love their apple turnover and fritters. If you’re a tea lover then you’ll also enjoy this place. They have a wide variety of flavors that could compete with teavana. coffee is also sold by the bag. Let me tell you how mind blowing this coffee is… I love their southern pecan. Also try coconut and caramel. I have to say this is my favorite coffee and breakfast joint in town. The environment is also pleasant. The vintage look makes this place so cozy, both inside and out. The train station adds a quaint charm to downtown Tinley Park. I’m so lucky to only live 4 blocks from this place! SIDENOTE Norman, the owner is a really nice guy who talks to his customers like they are his own family and friends. I think someone caught him on a bad day, but I really have to defend how kind this man is. His staff is also equally congenial. Josh is a cool guy and can remember your order and have it ready for you without asking. Their cook is also very friendly and talkative. Five star service and staff!

I had to search for someone to serve me. After that I witnessed a man(he claimed to be the owner yelling at the table of an elderly couple. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

I have driven past the Tinley Park train station on Oak Park Avenue many, many times. I’ve even gone to the farmers market in the adjoining parking lot. And sadly, I never knew Cavallini’s was even there. We were invited to a Sunday afternoon party at Cavallini’s. It was absolutely delightful. What a nice place for a party. It is a very modern, but classic at the same time. The light fixtures are a stand out. The train that runs overhead was a big hit with kids — kids like to push buttons and make trains go. The staff did a great job, extremely accomodating, very friendly. Food was great. The menu was sausage and peppers, meatball, potatoes, plus brushettas, artichoke parmegan breads, caprese salad and more. Worth checking out if you need to host a shower/baptism/reception.

I really love this place. An adorable café with very friendly staff. Homemade muffins and cinnamon rolls and truly the cheapest breakfast to be found. They have like six different kinds of coffee, daily! Great place to take kids as there is a model train they can start with the flip of a switch and a tower to climb and see the real trains coming and going. Both indoor and outdoor seating. I’m there all the time, and I don’t even take the train!
