First time eating here, the pepperoni and sausage pizza was amazing… The appetizers were not good at all, they were not hot…

Great Chicago pizza, very addictive and lose count of how many pieces I eat. FYI the cut-out of the emblem on the box is a coupon towards your next pizza(50 cents off a pizza, you can use up to 15 at one time)

I really liked the food and the prices were almost reasonable. I’ve seen more expensive though. Fiancé got a personal pizza and I got fettuccine. It was uncomfortably empty when we ate there, but that’s probably due to the timing. It was impressive and I would recommend.

Pizza was GREAT, kitchen was slow When ever going into any of the Aurelio’s pizza joints need to order the pizza well done. Wish they knew how to make pizza here in hillbilly country

Too bright, often quiet, but the food is solid. It’s no Aurelio’s in Homewood, but it’ll settle a craving in a pinch.

Wow wow wow! Best pizza ever!!! I’m from Chicago so have high standards for pizza. On a recent trip to visit family my uncle treated us to a pizza from Aurelio’s and I was stunned at how freakin’ good it was. Highly recommended!

What a shame. This place used to be outstanding. The highlight was the attention to detail and the people who worked there. Not anymore. Tonight is the last time we order from here. I feel terrible the person answeing the phone hates their job, their life, and that customers are what is standing between her and greatness but on the other hand get over yourself. We tried to order dinner, not ask you dismantle an atomic bomb at the center of a forest fire while juggling gas cans. If the person answering the phone tonight represents the owner’s level of regard the restaurant wants to project to their customers I would like to apologize for calling and bothering you and assure you it will never happen again.

This week I had the task of ordering 9 Fiesta size pizzas for an event at work. I called on Monday and confirmed someone would be available to deliver everything by 11am on Thursday. There was a snafu with a corporate credit card and I called early Thursday morning to find out the latest possible time I could place the order and still have it delivered on time. Sam gave me a time, I got the credit card number I needed, placed the order exactly at 9:30am and everything was delivered perfectly on time. The delivery guy was very courteous. Everyone loved the pizza and salad and the event turned out great! Thank you so much!!!

I’m a huge fan of thick crust pizza and delicious sauce/toppings and I just moved to this area and decided to give this place a shot. I ordered a double dough with extra mushrooms and sauce and WOW does this place know how to do their double dough! Will definitely be ordering from them again

Called asking if this restaurant was open and if they sell gift cards. Person working told me that they do so I drove over to buy it. Then they told me I can’t buy it for several hours. It’s clear why is dump is a failing establishment.

Love this location! We always get great service and great pizza! It’s a larger location and sits many people. My favorite Aurilio’s for tomato bread, too.

I’ve been a patron of Aurelio’s for over 15 years and I’ve eaten at several of their south suburb locations. For years I’ve held Aurelio’s in high regard as one of my favorite Chicago pizza joints. I don’t frequent them much anymore simply because of the excessive price of their food — I’ve found good pizza at much better value elsewhere in Tinley Park. Tonight, I add several more reasons to my list. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a night out and opted for Aurelio’s in Tinley Park. Neither of us have ever eaten at this location. We were originally sat next to the drink station(not sure why, the place was practically empty for a Wednesday night) but decided to move back to a booth in the bar area where we could have a little more privacy to talk. As soon as we sat down I noticed that our table was pretty sticky. I used a napkin to try and clean it off but it didn’t help(the napkin was black after wiping a few times). My wife’s side of the booth was ripped in the seat, and there was a tv right over our booth. So right away we were uncomfortable with our surroundings. Our waiter, who we guessed was also the bartender, offered us a lukewarm reception, avoiding eye contact. We ordered the combination sampler(pick 3: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and mushrooms) as an appetizer and placed our order for an X-Large pizza with spinach, tomatoes, and garlic. Appetizer came — everything was way over-fried; crunchy and difficult to eat. The sauces all looked and tasted hideous. The pizza was just as disappointing: way under-cooked — chewy, doughy, moist — pretty unappetizing. As we trudged through our already regrettable dinner, the bartender came over and stood facing our table watching TV and commenting to himself about whatever show was on. Awkward. I had already made up my mind within the first 5 minutes that I’d never return to this restaurant, and after the very disappointing food and service, the check was the ultimate clincher: almost $ 50 for a pizza, apps, and two drinks. Wow. This place needs a serious make-over in every facet of the restaurant. If you are still compelled to eat here, make sure you start a savings fund in your budget for your grand night out at Aurelio’s. Skip this one — there are way better pizza joints in Tinley that are much cleaner, better value, and higher quality.

Went on a Saturday evening and wasn’t crowded at all. Got a seat right away and ordered a Fresh Spinach Salad and a large thin crust sausage, mushroom and onion pizza. Salad came with a ton of spinach, slices of hard boiled egg, red onion, fresh sliced mushrooms, and croutons with house italian dressing. It was enough to feed 4 – 5 prop Pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked really enjoyed the fresh mushrooms on it. Would definitely go back if I am in the Orland area.

Looking for pizza on Friday night can be an expensive option with a family of 5, one needs to save a penny or two here and there. I enjoy pizza in the Tinley area and Aurelios is one my three favorites. I looked through my coupons for the Tinley location but could not find one, so I called to see if they would have one at the counter I could use when I picked up two large pizzas — the young girl said on the phone they don’t do that, but I should check the VALPAC site, so I went online and could not find anything there for the Tinley location. I put a good effort into trying to locate a Tinley Park Aurelios coupon — but no luck — — - — went online again for a coupon at my 2nd choice pizza(Nancy’s) and spent $ 46.08 before tax, but I saved $ 4.21 on a family and 4.00 on a large just by going online and downloading a coupon. Get with the times Aurelios…

I always order out with Aurelios. The crust is awesome. I recommend Thin Crust, cheese fairly well done. Like most pizza… Salty… Side it with a gallon of water.

My boyfriend and I usually go to the Aurelios by my work in Frankfort. We go often for the lunch buffet and really enjoy. I live closer to this Aurelios but have only been once. I would not recommend this location for the buffet. I really loved the one in Frankfort, but if you come here, just order a pizza or a meal. The buffet didn’t have many options and the kitchen was slow to replace some of the items. I felt like I was waiting for a fresh pan of pasta most of my visit. The service here was great and our waitress was super friendly and nice. I love aurelios pizza so I wouldn’t tell someone to not order a pizza from here. I just would pass on the buffet next time. I’ll update my review for my next visit.

Not bad, lunch buffet could have a more varied selection though. Here’s the skinny: Pizza, Pasta, Soup and Salad. Desserts are lacking on the buffet. Dated building but, clean and maintained. Here’s the fat: I went here for lunch and got the buffet for $ 6.95. Yes, that’s pretty cheap but, the selection was pretty limited unfortunately. Pizzas — two half cheese half sausage, a ½ ham ½ pepperoni and a veggie calzone that looks like it’s been sitting there too long. Pastas — Spaghetti Marinara and Fettuccine Alfredo with roasted red pepper. Soup and Salad — Soup was Cream of Chicken and Rice Salad was typical«Make your own» style. The Pizzas were A-OK and pretty tasty but, that Calzone was probably sitting under the heat rack too long, it was pretty rock solid and dried out. Spaghetti was pretty plain, nothing special. I thought the Fettuccine Alfredo with roasted red peppers was pretty damn good though, rich sauce, just the right amount of peppers to give good color and taste too. Soup was pretty good(after adding some salt), the only thing that it needed more of was chicken… hardly any in there. Salad… well it’s salad that you make for yourself. I’m not gonna review my self made salad! That said, Aurelio’s lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrots etc. were all pretty fresh looking. The lettuce wasn’t browning or limp, props for that. There were only 4 choices of dessert — Sugar Cookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Chocolate/Walnut Brownie or Carrot Cake. The brownie and Cake were in little cubic inch pieces… carrot cake was meh… but the Chocolate/Walnut Brownie was pretty good. About the building and general feel of the place — All in all it’s stereotypical Americanized Italian atmosphere… They definitely tried going for that«Rustic Italy» feel but, with the exposed light bulb here and there, vinyl booths that make farty noises when you get in and out; it just didn’t work. Still though, it’s a nice place for as old as the building looks, seems adequately maintained, fairly clean, has a good staff and decent buffet food. I’d go back here from time to time but, it’s not on my «Favorite Places» list. Definitely worth a try though if you’re looking for a quick and reasonably priced lunch. SYOY

Decent pizza, but good grief… is it EVER expensive. And let’s clarify: by decent, I mean«pizza that one would eat if given for free at, say, a Superbowl party», not pizza one would be inclined to seek out. Don’t ask me why. It’s just not that memorable. Their pasta isn’t too shabby, but I’ve always found service to be a little dicey. These elements alone leave me feeling less-than-impressed with the alleged«greatness» that is Aurelio’s Pizza. I will say this, though… the pizza buffet is the saving grace. My older kids tend to hit the buffet with my husband after a rousing session of open jump at Pump It Up! or Jump Zone or some such place. They always eat their body weight in ‘za and come home full and happy. Decent selection of different types of pizza, salad bar, and so forth… and everything seems surprisingly fresh. And it’s not wildly expensive, either, so you can really get the proverbial bang for your buck. In short, hit the buffet or have a slice at your brother’s neighbor’s cousin’s tailgating party, but order from somewhere else if you’re looking for a quality ‘za experience, especially if you’re dining in!
