Store looks like they were cleaned out before the bomb hit! Hardly anything on the shelves and the homemade sandwiches were hurting!

I’ve tried supporting this newer, local business three different times but it’s been a complete strikeout for me. My first visit the owner was on her cell phone on a personal call the entire time and the«grilled» cheese I was served was not even remotely done, cheese completely unmelted. Okay, second visit owner was again on a personal call on her cell the entire time. Third visit I went in to grab a sandwich at 3:55 and I was promptly informed that she closed at 4 and I was too late to get a sandwich and was refused any service. If you are closed, perhaps you should turn off your open sign and correct the hours of operation on Unilocal(listed as open until 5:30 on Sunday, not 4). The customer service is abhorrent and I will NOT be back.

My husband and I have heard great things about this place, and I have to say, I wasn’t impressed. We ordered 2 sandwiches, the Stallion and the Harry Connick. $ 14 later, and we got pre-made, plastic wrapped sandwiches you’d find at the airport. The Stallion had the thinnest tomatoes we’ve ever seen, with a microscopic drizzle of balsamic. My Harry Connick advertised truffle mayo, my main reason for ordering, and the flavor simply wasn’t there. Both sandwiches had sad, limp lettuce; a problem that is easily remedied by making sandwiches fresh to order. I really wanted to like this place, but with an oversaturation of amazing Italian delis in the area, I can’t say it’s worth giving it another shot.

My wife and I stopped in to get some meat to grill over the weekend. I bought some burgers and steaks. We have had the burgers on two occasions and they were really good. I mean«melt in your mouth good». I bought choice steaks and they were wonderful. The lady at the counter was very helpful. Your going to spend some cash but its worth it.

I stopped in for lunch yesterday and had the best beef and meatball sandwich on a toasted roll with mozzarella cheese and marina. They have a great selection of sandwiches, all made to your liking. They also have items to bring home and make like pastas, quality steaks and meats.

I have been hearing about this place since it opened. I knew I had to try it out! I stopped in on a Saturday morning shortly after opening. The owner was very friendly and helpful and explained all the products to me and offered me some samples. I ended up buying a little bit of everything. So far the food has been great! I was given some coupons for future visits so I’m sure I’ll be back soon. They serve freshly made sandwiches and soups for carry out. The main attraction here is the deli though. The quality of the meat here is the real draw. I think the prices are reasonable given the quality. The frozen section shouldn’t be missed either. I was able to pick up several things to keep on hand for a quick dinner after working late. This is a great addition to Tinley Park!

Always pleased with whatever I get from here. We have tried the sandwiches, steaks, cheese trays, pasta, etc. Each one is delicious and reasonably priced for the superior quality. Make sure to pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I went in there, and looked around, and found moldy cheeses in the cases. Overpriced for what I see.

Stopped at Angelo’s driving back to Indiana. Very good sandwiches! We had the Italian beef and caprese sandwich. Both were delicious! Two owners were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back on our way through!

Got the meatball sandwich — yes it was good, not the best, nor worth 9 bucks a sandwich. Perhaps that was due to the image of seeing a worker grab the package of pre-made meatballs from the counter and toss in a dish into the microwave. Then midway through, pour some canned sauce on top. Perhaps my perception of meatball sandwiches is different, but I just imagine a pot full of sauce and balls and thrown on a roll — not microwaving with canned sauce. The meatball itself was tender, but more filling-tasting than meat. Not sure I can confirm if bread is fresh-baked, it was just okay. Definitely a large sandwich. After chips and a drink, I was at 14 bucks. Not ideal for lunch! Store is small, but with some good-looking Italian pastas and sauces. I’d go back and grab some pasta for making at home. I also would like to try a cold sandwich. It’s not a situation of «3 stars and I’ll never go back.» I’ll go back — I would like to try some other options.
