Factory/outlet stores give the impression that they offer deals, markdowns or second quality items at fantastic prices. Most severely let the bargain shopper down and this Nike store is a prime example. Located in a tourist area, they appeal to Canadian shoppers and out of state«Lakes Regions» tourists looking for a bargain. Nothing in this store is a bargain and the shoe selection is primarily discontinued models or shoes with really off color combinations at near full retail price. I looked at Nike Lunarglide 7 running shoes priced at $ 89.99. I can buy them online/retail for that price so where is the«factory» incentive to shop in this store? Nike logo plain cotton T-shirts(they are really 100% cotton and not high performance fabrics) where displayed on huge tables at 2/$ 40.00. Are you kidding me? Nike plastic water bottles were priced at $ 18.99 and the kid working there advised me that they are not leak proof. The staff is very friendly and they offer to help(over and over) but I’ll stay away from this tourist trap and do my Nike shopping online.

The selection out here is mediocre. I guess you shouldn’t expect anything high since I am a California kid trying to shop in the state of New Hampshire. I really tried my hardest to come back home with something since there was no sales tax on everything out here(CA girls would go crazy if one day there was no sales tax on clothing). Nothing out of the usual or can’t miss deals struck me. It was a quick in and out for me.

The Nike Outlet is a good sized store which carries Nike apparel and sneakers for men, women, and kids. This is one of my favorite stops to check out the latest Nike sneakers and the markdown clearance items. The front of the store has various Nike apparel, athleticwear, basketballs, and other items and the back of the store is well stocked with plenty of sneakers and shoes. I always check out the running and cross training sneakers, which are priced around $ 39.99-$ 59.99 and any clearance sneakers. I also browsed over some graphic tees($ 9.99) and sandals($ 17.99). I didn’t buy anything on this shopping trip since my present Nikes are in decent shape and comfortable, but I will definitely return here in the near future.
