Bitchy customer service people who clearly do not enjoy their jobs.
Horrible service!

My son likes this toys r us. I like that the aisles are nice and wide but the way things are organized in the store are a bit schizophrenic. Customer service was good. The stocking was pretty meh. I’d say it might be hit or miss to find what you need here.

We bought a large, plastic toy car from them and jammed a piece in it since it was so hard to put together. We called and when I walked in the door, they had spare pieces ready and helped me put it together.
This plastic toy car was my son’s birthday present so it helped turn the day around and he got to play with it on his birthday.

This is the first time that I’ve been to the store and I’m very disappointed. It’s surprising that they open at 10 AM, a tad late in the day.
I’m the first one at customer service and a male employee helps me, but he is not helpful. He does not greet me or say thank you when I leave. I had to return a cheap item that I ordered online. First he asked for my phone number which I don’t like to give out and usually you don’t have to, but he insisted that they needed it so I gave him a fake one! Then he asked if I want Cashback with no other options, so I asked him if it can be put back on my card. He gives me a gift card but that’s not what I asked for so I need to say «debit card» to him. It can’t happen. He’s to give me $ 5.99 back at at this point in ready to be done. But now he is asking me for one cent… Doesn’t seem like much but when it’s already frustrating it seems a bit contrite. Luckily the lady employee walks up and says she has a penny for me not to worry about it. He gave me $ 6, wads up the return receipt (which he should have stapled to me other receipt) and then sighs loudly. I’m his first customer and this older man is already this way?
I hardly write bad reviews (can’t note his name since he threw away my receipt) but I believe the company has an older computer system and the employee doesn’t really like his job. Sad. Made for a bad experience and I won’t be back, even if friends register here. I’ll buy online and return online!

Was in Toys R Us tonight customer service very rude will not ever be back cashier did not know what he was talking about. Went to Target and target match Toys R Us price so no need to shop at the stupid toy store. Toys R Us just lost my money (Forever)

I called to see if they carried a certain item. After 25 mins on hold, never once speaking to a real human, they hung up on me. Not cool.

Stores in Tigard and Clackamas are filled with a strong latex odor. My wife is allergic and had trouble breathing all day after walking into one of these stores. I tried to let a few associates know, but they were unconcerned. I guess they don’t understand that this can cause Anaphylaxis and even death to those with allergies. We will not be shopping here anymore.

Pretty nice, helpful workers, but some things a little pricey.

Clean, well stocked Toys R Us.
Employees are always around looking to help you.
They will always match pricing via the web.
They do price their lego’s higher than
(son’s favorite) but run promo’s often.
If you do buy toys often for your kids make sure you sign up for their free rewards card.

I haven’t bought any food here and can’t comment on the previous review.
However, I have bought toys here — my son gets gift cards from family and friends and off we go. They have a massive selection, as you’d expect, and it’s a load of fun. I have the feeling I may dread this store when he’s older, but at 2 he is small enough to be happy with the one toy or book he picks out before we haul him back out the doors.
On the other hand, it’s all (as you’d expect) the usual stuff. For interesting, unusual, special, or green toys, I’d favor an independent store. Nonetheless, it’s a great selection of all the usual stuff in one place, at least.
