I’ve never been to a Peets before– maybe because they’re a chain and I like more mom and pops places– but I met a friend there and brought a kid each. Usually at coffee shops there’s a selection of juices or chocolate milk and cookies! What about the cookies? Nothing kid friendly at all. Very disappointing because the pumpkin chai tea actually was pretty good. Good for adults, not kid friendly.

Great coffee. Great service, albeit a little slow. Only drawback is that parking can be a pain. There are only a few spots in front of it. If you’re shopping at Bridgeport, it’s great. If you want to stop by for a quick coffee… might be circling for parking for a while, and when you find a spot, most often than not, you’re going to be walking a ways.

Love this place! My go to is the blended espresso, no matter what time of year it is I loved iced coffee!

Always clean and inviting, Peet’s is a great business. I’ve always had good service and excellent coffee. I don’t like this location much because it’s always packed and loud. Still, I see why folks gather here – it’s pleasant and the pastries look amazing. Bridgeport could use at least one more coffee shop to answer the demand. For me, coming here or to Barnes and Noble’s café is great answer to avoiding action movies that my husband and son are drawn to see. This time, I’m avoiding Get Hard while prepping for work next week.

Ohhh Peets, how do I love ya! PS — if you are going to Bridgeport the seating fills up FAST. and PPS — if you didn’t know about Peets — buy your coffee there, even as little as a ¼ pound and get a card for a free cuppa Joe — on them! Or money off your upperwardly mobile beverage :)

I’ve been around a lot of coffee shops over the years but this Peet’s beats them all hands down. The first time I walked in the door, I noticed the staff smiling and talking to each other. It was only after awhile that I realized that they really get along with each other. So the obvious question is: why do I bring this up? Easy. When you have a happy staff, you know the store is managed effectively, everyone takes pride in the work they do. The drinks are top notch and the customer service outstanding. It’s always a pleasure to walk in where«everyone knows your name»

I’m a sucker for Peet’s as their coffee is pretty good and they have a very good tea selection. I also lived in Berkeley for awhile so I feel like it’s a local store in some way since they started there. This is a good location with a good staff.

If you are looking for a great coffee you’ll find it here. The coffee is great not over roasted like others. The shop is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Enjoy

Not my first time here, but really a great place. Great baristas and the treats are good and the coffee is really really good. I want one of these in my neighborhood.

Peet’s coffee is very tasty and not over-roasted like some other chains. Their barista’s are really what sets them apart though. Rather than heating up a gallon of milk at a time(notice I say«heating» not«steaming»), the folks at Peet’s will carefully steam your milk in a quantity perfect for just your drink. The milk is then slowly poured with a spoon holding back the foam. As a result, you get a texture that is much more satisfying than just heated up milk. They also give a small amount of foam on top, which really seals the drink. The store is tastefully appointed and classy looking. And I cannot tell you how pleasant it is to have my order taken by somebody without neck tattoo’s, without a railroad spike pierced through their head, with monochromatic hair color, and who smiles with the sincerity that says«I’m glad to work there and glad to be serving you as a customer». Coffee shops throughout the Northwest could learn something from the Bridgeport Peet’s. Many of us don’t want to «keep it weird», and don’t like attitude with our coffee; particularly first thing in the morning. My drink: medium mocha, no whip. Finally, if you’re not a tea drinker, this is a good place to start; the selection of teas is very good and the quality is excellent as well.

I don’t know much about Peet’s but I am happy I stopped in here. They serve ALMONDMILK. unlike starbucks. and they are a super chain so you can find them in very convenient places, like the mall. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating. I enjoyed my coffee just fine. :)

I heart Peet’s in the overall, and would give the chain four stars, but this location only gets three, for a few reasons. First of all, the counter area is all jammed up. It’s like they’ve intentionally erected a barrier to access with display stands holding various products. Then, there’s junk all over the counter, too. Last, the lines are confusing. Shouldn’t the place to order be closest to the door? Then you would move left for your beans or drink or whatever. I wasn’t the only person who was slightly befuddled by the order line being in the middle(you go left to pick up drinks, and right for beans, but what if your order a drink and beans? Agh!). I think they need a feng shui expert to come in and straighten them out. Otherwise, this is a good place to get an excellent cup of coffee or tea. I’d rank it at the bottom of the four Peet’s I frequent, though, with the Hawthorne spot being my fave.

I like Peet’s. they’re pretty good but there are so many other coffee shops that are better. I definitely prefer Peet’s over Starbucks, but would much rather go to Dutch Bros or a mom and pop coffee shop.

The staff at this location are always friendly without being overbearing – and they’re as good at energizing your day as the caffeine they peddle. I have a Peet’s and two Starbucks(one in Barnes & Nobles) within walking distance, but I usually opt for Peet’s because of the friendly atmosphere. If the seating area were twice as big, I’d probably go for five stars, because sometimes I aim to meet someone here for a quick business chat and the location’s popularity means that seating can be tight. The free wi-fi definitely makes this a good place to meet for professionals. When I’ve used the location for bulk coffee and pastries, the staff was both prompt and helpful with deciding on how best to choose the selections.

Ok, so it’s Peet’s. The general book on this company is that they are more elitist than Starbucks, but follow the exact same model… so, I begrudgingly go here because the product is generally very, very good. I was going to only give 4 stars because I’m predisposed to not like chains… but then I thought that wouldn’t be fair because I made the choice to go in here instead of a local place. And it’s true that it’s as close to the quality of a local coffee shop as you can get in a chain. This particular location was busy this day. It was the first legitimately chilly day of late-summer 2013 and that meant everyone wanted a hot coffee or tea. All the tables were full and there was a bustling line. The staff were up to the task and were even super friendly about it! I had a Unilocal check-in offer and she marked it down cheerily and took our order… made me feel glad I went in. The music that was on was awesome. There was a line waiting for drinks and the baristas were cranking them out and calling them without missing a beat. We waited a grand total of about 4 minutes from order to drink and were on our way. Couldn’t have been a better experience(well maybe if the Miles Davis on the speakers was actually there playing live… but I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon.)

Super nice and helpful gals working. The display case full of baked goods was soooo tempting! I wish I had snagged the last raspberry cream cheese scone… My vanilla latte was perfect and just the right temp. We also tried the green tea latte, which I’m sure a lot of people like, but all I could taste was seaweed so I won’t be trying that again, ha!

Simply given that there are so few real Peet’s locations here in the area, I was a little taken aback at how few people were working at such a busy location when I stopped in yesterday to meet a Bay Area friend for coffee and to pick up some rations for the house. What also has made me knock this location down a star is the fact that their furnishings are rundown-like super run down. I don’t think I saw a single chair that did not have a rip, a row of duck tape or some other type of «quick fix» to it. Corporate needs to do a spot check here and pronto and due to this place being at the busy outdoor mall, should not be understaffed during the Christmas season.

I love Peet’s because they cater to my french press loving ways and coarse grind the coffee beans. I am pretty picky about my brew, if I was getting a latte I would be less pressed to seek out perfection. Many blends have passed through the tiny strainer in my press and I push down the plunger hoping for a smooth, bold but never bitter cup of coffee. I think i’ve had every brand in the grocery store, the majority of whats offered by Starbucks and a few by Stumptown too. Peet’s is hands down my favorite. Day to day I go for the house blend but on special occasions I go for a quarter pound of the Arabian Mocha Sanani. When I ask questions, the baristas are alway specific and knowledgable. I also love that I am treated to a small coffee of my choice when I pop in to re-stock on grounds. Thanks to Peet’s, I will never have to endure the generic office blend that I would otherwise be consuming at work.

Whew! Thank goodness! They fixed whatever the heck went wacko with the coffee so it is no longer tar sludge. It’s back to being the yummy delicious Peet’s it’s always been. It’s still hard to give them more stars because although it’s great coffee it’s still not a very inviting place to stay for longer than it takes to cream up your cup ‘o joe and take it to go. It’s always packed with people though and the only alternatives are *$‘s literally across the street or whole paycheck also across the street. I do love their pastries oh so much though plus free wi-fi is nice because *$‘s makes you jump throw razor-wire hoops and charges you through the nose for their version of the interwebs. Great Coffee Peet’s! Thanks!
