Tori was our waiter… extremely friendly and helpful. wine wed is the time to go in. She offered me samples till I found the one I liked and ended up buying them all. Half price, why not? Food arrived quickly… nice and hot. The friendly staff made it so enjoyable. Great Italian without the high price of quality One of my favorite quick stops. I’ve never been disappointed

Really yummy pasta with huge portions, at a great price! I was very impressed by this place. You can even walk around Bridgeport, and they text you when your table is ready! We will definitely be back… the fresh made pesto was really yummy!

Quick service, good food, and great lunch special. Got the baked ziti with a meatball and Caesar salad. Pretty good amount of food and tasted great, especially for a 8.50 lunch special, got alittle bit of everything. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, food came out quick and tasted fresh. Overall very pleasant experience, will stop in again for lunch.

Well I decided to give this chain another chance, another disappointment though. We were welcomed at the door which was nice. Hostess sat us but server did not come around until 10 minutes later. Saw many of them by a wine wall talking and ignoring tables. Maybe a manager should be on the floor but did not see one during the entire visit. I had the baked ziti while my boyfriend had a chicken Caesar salad. Caesar salad okay but baked ziti nothing like I have tried at true Italian restaurants. Baked ziti was just noodles, red sauce, meat and baked cheese. In my opinion kind of embarrassing. I highly do not recommend this chain.

I ordered the Spicy Sausage and Pasta, it was full of flavor. I definitely recommend this plate to anyone who likes to zest their life up. This was my first time coming to Pastini Pastaria and I’ll definitely be returning. Not to mention the service is great, not your ordinary customer service. I will be coming back and I’m happy to have another restaurant on my go-to list. Thank you, Daniel M.

My son’s gelato sundae came out wrong and Dakota totally made him feel okay about trying it as is and then immediately replacing it when he didn’t like the cookies!

Wow is all I have to say after my latest experience here today. I have came here many times when I’m in Portland and today my experience was so bad I will never be back. The waitress forgot half our chicken for the Caesar salad, we had three waitresses while we were there and last but not least our drinks were slow to be refilled. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and for 12 $ there was nothing to it. It seemed about the size of a kids portion. I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant and I was shocked because it used to be so good. Really disappointed in the decline of this restaurant especially for how expensive it it.

My Husband and I had a yummy date night at the Bridgeport location. We had a short 10 min wait because this place was hopping on a Sunday night. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi(to die for delicious) and the Fuscilli Alla Roma a corkscrew pasta w/chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, in a Parmesan sauce… So very yummy and full of flavor! Our waitress was friendly and attentive… I ordered a Drink that was to sweet for my taste buds and she was happy to switch it out for a awesome glass of wine. The wine list was diverse and our waitress knew exactly what to pair with our dinner. So helpful. I highly recommend Pastini’s…Such a fun delicious find!

This place was really good! The service was good, the food was good and it was gluten-free!!! We didn’t even have to wait very long on a Friday night! We had drinks, baked ziti, roasted sweet potatoes, and the gluten free tiramisu. I want to go back again — like now! Please oh please bring one of these to Salem Oregon. I need you in my life for date nights, girls nights, lunches, any other time I’m hungry… I love you. You complete me.

I’m still giving this restaurant a no star. I went again, in the restaurant this time, and the lady was working 5 tables. So slower service. I order a dish that’s pretty plain easy to make I’m sure. Have ordered it MANY of times and it tasted so bad. Burnt, muskey, I don’t even know what was wrong with it. Didn’t eat it they did take it back but just proved to me that I will no longer be going there. It’s unfortunate.

This is one of our favorite places to eat when in Tigard. The staff is so friendly! We had Ashley two weekends in a row. She remembered us and our preferences(garlic bread, super toasty), impressive ! Hubby loved the spaghetti carbonara and I tried the chicken Marsala on one visit and a baked seafood dish on another. Both were very good. Happy customers!

I’m a pasta lover– although the food is yummy here. It’s hard to tell if they give large portions to everything. Its’ a hit or miss.(I’m about portions and cost all together) I ordered a pasta dish that was large, my husband got a petite lasagna. Atmosphere gets busy during lunch and dinner. All in all tasty food.

Nice establishment. Our waiter was amazing. Unfortunately the food itself was lacking. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very bland. Completely flavorless. The sauce was ok, but also bland. Other members of our group ordered other things and there wasnt much complaint. I would go back and definitely try something else but perhaps try a different dish.

tl;dr: Not for the(solo) business traveler– food, service and experience was overall completely lackluster and incredibly… odd. More like 1.5 rating because«Meh» is being a bit generous… but I don’t like some of the ‘unfairness’ of review sites at times, so I’m rounding up because the 1 star Eek! is too harsh. __________________________________________________________ I feel like I was let down– either by Unilocal!reviews that, despite the 3.5 average, led me to believe it would be a good choice, or just in general by the experience as a whole. Here’s the deal: In town on business, staying 5 min drive away. Pulled into PF Changs parking area, but before heading in thought I’d check my trusty Unilocal app for any good local spots(unlike PFCs that can be found anywhere). Decided to head to Pastini instead. Upon entering, I learn there’s no bar area to sit at… I travel quite a bit for my job, ~2 weeks a month, so I dine solo often. I prefer to sit at the bar and don’t like«wasting» a whole table on just me. plus the people watching is usually way better at the bar ;) The hostess overall was rushed and not very friendly but did a decent job of handling the(short) wait list and a few folks picking up to-go orders… she«politely» suggested that I order to-go as well and hands me a paper take out menu. So I sit to wait and peruse the menu, still disappointed that there’s no bar(some of the drinks sounded delicious!!!) and decided to just order take out instead, head back to my hotel and veg. I approach the same hostess(who had to ask my name three different times during the same short conversation… minor annoyance perhaps, however I’ve worked in the restaurant/service industry for longer than I can remember; it’s not that hard. But I digress…) and asked her recommendation between a butternut squash/sage ravioli(mmm) or a seafood dish(recommended on Unilocal here by a few, the one with scallops, shrimp and fish in a tube pasta). …She informs me that the butternut squash raviolis couldn’t be ordered for take out. What? Then why is it on a take out menu, that you supplied to me suggesting I order from it? Boo hiss. I even told her that I’d never had seafood + pasta before(besides like, shrimp alfredo.), and was really leaning towards that ravioli. No offer of reason why I cant get it, no «sorry about that»…though she did offer to seat me if I «really wanted that dish»… So minus 1-star for having it listed on the take out menu and getting my hopes up, but add some credit for the odd attempt at fixing the situation. I asked her what she thought of the seafood one; she’s allergic(not faulting her for that!) but I did inquire as to whether it was a popular dish etc and she said it’s a favorite and ordered quite often; great sign me up. I also ordered a small caesar salad and a side of the«roasted butternut squash with sage»(the actual side dish, after clarifying if that particular orange-colored squash dish was in fact available«to go». Maybe people never order this? She seemed clueless as to what it was when I first inquired about it.) I was hell bent on getting some butternut squash. Get back to hotel, ready to eat and found it extremely disappointing. So much so, I am very thankful I had a bag of chips and some leftover salad from lunch to munch on. The seafood pasta was not good… truthfully, it was gross. The scallops were hard and rubbery, the dish overly fishy tasting as a whole.(Yes, I know I ordered a seafood dish. but it was fishy in a not-so-fresh way; I pictured«freshness» in my head, less«fishiness». I ended up eating the thin layer of melted cheese off the top and moved on. Turns out, the«roasted» butternut squash was not in fact roasted(perhaps boiled would be more like it?) and was oddly inconsistent– some pieces were incredibly under cooked while some were so mushy they’d fall apart instantly. Couple that with the soggy sage and oily-saucy stuff at the bottom— Blech. Couldn’t even handle more than a few bites. Turning to the salad, I found the croutons to be good… only after picking browned lettuce out between bites :(Abandoned that dish after about 5 bites. Minus the third star. Even the bread was under par as it was not even warmed up; supposed to hail from a delicious local bakery even. Again, odd & lackluster are the words that come to mind with my experience. I don’t usually write reviews this long, but felt it the only way to convey the reasons why those words best fit. One of the above problems on its own may not have ruined it for me, but coupled altogether? #aintnobodygottimeforthat Oh, I almost forgot: I had to ask for utensils to go with a to-go order. Thank goodness I watched another to-goer ask for them, as I would’ve incorrectly assumed they were included in my bag and would’ve been forkless back in my hotel room.

Okay. So, I agree with one of the other reviews on here — that the food seems consistent, and it’s good. It’s just not amazing. There are a few things that they could do that would make the experience a lot better and more fitting. They don’t offer complimentary bread. I know it can be costly, but I feel like it’s welcoming, and I can’t think of an Italian place that doesn’t do this. Oh, and it’s not fresh, grated at your table Parmesan cheese. It’s already added to your dish, and if you want more, they bring a side of it out. I ordered the linguini with chicken, and it was good, but like I said… it wasn’t amazing. If I did come back to this place, I would order it again. As far as service, it was great. The server was friendly and courteous, and she was efficient, which is much appreciated.

Since my husband gets up at 3am we opted for a late lunch to celebrate our anniversary. I have enjoyed Spaghetti Carbonara at the downtown Portland location and thought it was the best I ever had. I was excited to try a location closer to home. The Bridgeport location restaurant is much smaller then downtown Portland but comfortable. Walking in we were greeted and taken to our table on the side of the open kitchen. Our friendly server suggested drinks. Since I don’t care for very sweet cocktails she suggested her version of the Berry Martini. With some lemon, berriers, and a little sugar around the rim the Berry Martini was quite good and I did feel it. My husband’s first time at Pastini Pastaria and he went with the Chicken Alfredo with added shrimp at his request. I went with the Spaghetti Carbonara with Gluten Free Penne Pasta but agreed to have the Pearl Bakery ciabatta bread that came with the dish. My husband said his dish was good and that he was glad their dishes were not to large otherwise he would of eaten too much. My Gluten Free Carbonara had good flavor but not like I remember downtown. It seemed dry. What was most disappointing was the Pearl Bakery ciabatta bread. Definitely nothing special about the bread. It was cold! This really is worth a star in itself. Why would a company that is so ecofriendly, local, with their motto, «Local means fresher, and fresher tastes better» serve cold bread? I’m not saying it was not fresh but a pasta house serving cold bread?! That’s wrong. I have not been to a Italian Restaurant where you have to buy warm garlic bread. Since it was our anniversary we also opted for Tiramisu to share. It was not too sweet but I had better. It lacked flavor. My husband did not give his opinion that would mean it was ok. In all, I was very disappointed in the lack of. This location did not compare to downtown Portland. My foodie daughter, if I would of let her, would of eaten all my Carbonara when we ate downtown. This was not the same. The service here was 5 star.
