Just try and get your medical records transferred from the Tigard clinic. It is a good thing I could not get an appointment any sooner with my new Dr or I would be in trouble. So sorry Shawn McCann left. He made it worth the hassle.

I agree with many of the other reviews on here. This place is awful. I have come here for several years expecting things to get better, they don’t. The worst part about this office is the front staff. They are snarky and rude. I cringed every time I had to call in. When you call in they ladies who answer the phone are absolutely horrible. Anything you say to them will be met with a rude, annoyed reply. They are not helpful, kind or even polite. Don’t ever ask them any questions because they will make you feel like you are the biggest inconvenience they’ve had all day. I’ve had enough of these receptionist and they are the number one reason I am not coming back. There is nothing positive I can say regarding them.
The medical assistants are fine I just never seem to see the same ones twice which makes me wonder about their turnover rate.
The office is older and has a musty smell to it.
I stayed going to pacific medical group for as long as I have because of my primary care physician. She was the reason that I put up with all these unpleasant experiences.
After my last time calling in I am no longer willing to put up with this absolute disgrace of a clinic.

Do not go to Pacific medical if you are poor. I am on disability and barely making by. They decided to TERMINATE me. I have never been terminated from a doctors office cause I was poor. Tried to refill my heart medication and I was told by billing department Gigi (very cold heartily) that I was terminated and to seek medical help elsewhere. This just blew me away. This is a life and death situation they are messing with. I didn’t ask to be disabled and broke. This is how this country works? The rich have the pleasure of being healthy and taken care of and for the poor… well its like a genocide. This should not be happening in this country. Very very sad and scary as hell!

Been seeing Dr. McCann for just short of a year. Originally, I came in as a new patient of his, after I was in a bad multi-​vehicle car accident. He has been so great, that I decided to start seeing him for unrelated health concerns as well. I recently moved to Oahu, however, so I’m so sorry to say that I will have to find a replacement for him on the island… I’m actually really bummed about this because it’s more difficult than it should be in this day n age, to find a great dr who truly listens, shows genuine concern, bc really does everything possible to help… Praying I find his island equal! :)

Don’t go here. The doctors are fine, but dealing with the front desk staff is a nightmare. The first appointment I ever made should have tipped me off. I show up for my appointment only to be told that I «called and canceled my appointment.» Which I never did and had to be rescheduled. The receptionists were rude and make lots of scheduling mistakes. Once, they wrote my name down wrong when I called in a prescription request, second time I called for the same RX request and the message didn’t make it to the doctor. After I called it in a third time it did get filled however, they prescribed me the wrong medication-(which is the doctor’s fault), even though I told her 3 times what the name was, and brought in my empty bottle. I even pointed out to the doctor that the name on the script wasn’t the same as on the bottle, she said, «They are the same medication.» Nope, wrong again. So I ended up paying for the wrong medicine despite my best efforts. Today, again I was put on hold for nearly 7 minutes and hung up on, then called back, on hold another 6 minutes and then hung up on again. I know people make mistakes, however, this is just unacceptable and poor service. It’s too bad too, because this location is conveniently located next to a lab. Go elsewhere or be prepared to waste a lot of time!

Unfortunately I can’t review the actual service provided by this clinic, because I had to go to the ER for possible stroke and was told to follow up with a doc at this clinic in a week. I couldn’t get an appt b/​c that doc is retiring. So they were going to try to get me in with someone else — but they told me they don’t treat patients with chronic pain (which I have).
Maybe they’re gun-​shy about prescribing «drugs»…but if someone there made some mistake in the past, why do patients have to pay the price for that? Whatever the reason is, refusing to treat patients with chronic pain is a refusal to provide medical care, as far as I’m concerned. Even if I didn’t have chronic pain, just knowing they operate this way makes them a poor «medical» clinic.

I’ve visited this clinic twice. Once last year. Once this year. I will NEVER go back again. This clinic deserves negative stars. Reasons: 1. I filed a complaint to the office manager and never heard back from her. It was a serious issue. 2. The front desk rep, at least one of them was EXTREMELY rude. She acted like she hated her job. No patients deserves that kind of treatment.

If there was a minus star, the Pacific Medical Group would get it.
I was (still am) looking for a regular physician. I was told that I had an appointment with a doctor and was seen by a rude assistant and a nurse practitioner who I had to prod through the process. After answering 50 questions, I realized that if I was not willing to get a total physical, with x-​rays and a MRI, they had no interest in me.
I had a full physical, including blood work less than 3 months ago! Please people, we all not all covered by super insurance that will pay for all of your unneccesary procedures.
One other thing, the assistant who told me to «follow her» to the room needs to practice her people skills.

where here for a general check-​up and then follow-​up physical and loved it. for both appointments there was no wait time, i was taken back right at the time my appointment was scheduled and seen by the doctor within 5 minutes after the nurse took my blood pressure and what not. the blood work i had done was the same, no wait, in and out in no time flat. it was a great experience all around and very comforting to know that if ever do get sick i have this place close by to visit.

Where do I begin. I’ve not had great service at this facility.
My primary care physician was there and when I discovered I had a DVT after repeated complaints of pain. After 3 months and minimal follow up he pronounced me cured. That was in June 2008.
It is now October 2010 and it is still there (I moved on in September of 2008) but because it had such a long time to build up I’m still dealing with it with another specialist.
I feel like I got the proverbial C student as a physician.
To add as an insult, this office continued to call me for physical exams until I called them and told them that «we» had broken up and I didn’t want to see them again. :)
