If you’re looking for a quick fro-yo fix while cruising the mall then this is your place. Overall I enjoyed the frozen yogurt and there was an OK variety of toppings. Not as great as some places though. The chocolate flavor was amazing. The price was the same as any other. As long as they have mochi and fresh fruit I am satisfied.

As a huge fan of fro-yo and especially YoCream, I think the stuff at Orange Leaf tastes like a cross between powdered milk and starburst. If you want something, trek a little farther down Scholls Ferry to Mango Tango by Walgreens. Or out to Peach Wave at Bridgeport.

I wasn’t a huge fan of frozen yogurt until I found this place. About 10 flavors of yogurt and toppings galore make this place awesome.

Not too bad, but not too good either. Price is definitely right… .39 cents per ounce. They have many different flavors; Mango, Pineapple, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, Original, Chocolate, Coffee etc. Plenty of toppings as well; Chocolate chips, tapioca pearls, blackberries, strawberries, kiwi, mango, Oreo cookies, sprinkles, etc. I had the original froyo with chocolate chips, and it only came out to be $ 3.45– and that was a medium size. My only real gripe is the original flavor tasted like sour cream. Yeah, it was pretty much nasty. I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake, that was gross too. So Yay for the price and options, Boo for the taste.

Kind of funny given one of the other reviews, but I could do without another stop here ever because the yogurt was too sour. Sorry, but seriously, ew. It wasn’t real tasty under the sour either, it was just… bland and sour and slightly nasty. For this I took a lactase pill? Bleh. The price seemed like it would have been okay if I’d liked the yogurt, and the toppings were nice. I like the serve yourself concept. And it’s a gorgeous, inviting space. Alas, it’s inviting you to a sour-bland-yogurt party. I’ll RSVP«no way» in the future.

Yes, I am easily excited. Yes, I don’t frequent the suburbs very often because they make me afraid. Yes, before tonight I hadn’t been to the mall in 3YEARS! Do you know how exciting the mall is after 3 years? It is $ 375.00 worth of clothes and accessories and a very happy Lori A! This, however is not the only thing that excited Lori A. tonight!(see, I am so excited that I am referring to myself in the third person.) As we made our way out of the near empty mall, something caught my eye. Suddenly there were bright lights, and I am pretty sure a choir sang as I approached the holy grail of all frozen yogurts. All thoughts of starving myself for the next 10 years in order to fit in to those skinny jeans flew immediately out the window, especially after I learned that there was chocolate sauce involved! And sprinkles! The best part about Orange Leaf is that you can do it all yourself. If your boyfriend dumps you and you want to pile your cup full of delicious frozen yogurt swimming in butterfingers, GOFORIT! If you are a borderline anorexic who thinks one croûton is a meal, you can just have a tiny taste! The power is in your hands! I love this place, but I also don’t go to many frozen yogurt places.(see skinny jean dreams) I am sure that in three years when I go back to the Suburbs, something bigger and better will knock my little socks off. Now if you will excuse me, I have some jogging to do after inhaling all of those Oreo crumbles!

I’ve had several visits to Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt at the Washington Square Mall off the 217 freeway. It’s located in the middle of the mall near the mall bathrooms, a luggage shop and See’s Candies. Orange Leaf is just your typical Fro-yo place. Self-serve depending on what kind of cup you get(medium or large). Fill your cup with the fro-yo that you are craving that day. I’ve had the cookies & cream, taro, peach, blueberry, chocolate. I’m a sweet tooth at heart so I did enjoy these frozen yogurts. Toppings range from your typical fruit, candy, granola and several chocolate, caramel and a mystery one I used last week which I thought was condensed milk(totally was not! I did not like the taste so that was my risk). I like that they have mochi available. Not many frozen yogurt places offer that or they run out. So that’s a plus for them. Place is pretty clean and it’s nicely decorated with geometric acrylic furniture, white glossy walls with bright orange as their contrast color. The place is inviting and can get quite busy. I did not think the place was expensive. For 41 cents/ounce it was not that bad. I’ve gone to other places where I ended up shelling $ 8 for a medium cup. Here I pay about $ 2 – 3 for a medium cup. I hail from So Cal where there are fro-yo places left and right. Since this is the craze that’s going on, I’ve seen cheaper and expensive. Orange Leaf is decent and just okay. I think it’ll be around for awhile since the fro-yo craze is going on. Would I come back? Yes if I’m shopping and need a little snack.

West side hear me out, we really need to have a decent frozen yogurt joint here around SW Portland/Tigard area. My sister told me about Orange Leaf at Washington Square Mall. We went, we ate, and I was a bit disappointed. Their frozen yogurts were towards the sweet side. The original is not sour at all. Most of the times, I like my fro yo to be sour and refreshing. It’s also in the spendy side. You serve the fro yo by yourself including the toppings. Two small size fro yos for about $ 9. It’s more than Yo Cream and other self serve frozen yogurt places. My hunt for sour and refreshing frozen yogurts around west side of Portland will continue… until I find my fro yo soulmate.
