Diva Den Spa

One day around a year ago, I decided to get eyelash extensions. I was very excited! They are beautiful!
I live in Corvallis and work as a nurse. Suite 101 was recommended to me by a coworker. I signed up for an appointment. I had no previous experience with eyelash extensions. I expected to have some education about the service that was going to be provided to me, trusting that the woman knew what she was doing as she came highly recommended. Instead, I was told to lay down on the table and that it may, «burn a bit.» Although I stated twice, «I want the eyelashes to look as natural as possible…» I walked out of the building looking like a clown. I was laughed at and ridiculed by friends for a week. I was embarrassed and humiliated. The eyelashes were hideous and looked like I had glued two sets of fake eyelashes to each lid. My right eye became swollen and I had to go in to an optometrist. The doctor told me to get the eyelashes off immediately.
Now enter, Cammi Bay! She was recommended to me by a different coworker of mine. She graciously came down from Portland (where she resides and where her place of business is — The Diva Den Studio and Spa out of Tigard) and met me in Albany. She educated me on the eyelash extension business, different options I have with eyelash extensions, and how to maintain them. She took time from her life and slowly took off the unsightly eyelashes and replaced them with the length and size I chose.
I have been going to Cammi Bay ever since! She has gone above and beyond her service to help me. And does BEAUTIFUL work. She is personable and friendly. Professionalism at its best! When I have had appointments at The Diva Den, I have had such a great time talking with all the friendly faces. I wish I lived closer so I could join the classes on a regular basis.

P. S. I would also NOT recommend going to Suite 101 in Corvallis for eyelash extensions. The whole experience was incredibly unpleasant and nothing has ever been done to remedy the complaint.

I’ve been going to Diva Den for about 9 months and should have written a review a while ago. It’s fantastic. The instructors are consistently challenging me and the variety of classes are great. They have extremely affordable childcare and it’s high quality. The woman in charge, Bry, has a theme each week and the kids do a craft every session even though they are only there for an hour. My daughter loves going to Diva Den as much as I do! I’ve considered trying alternative facilities that are closer to downtown portland because I live in goose hollow, but I feel so part of the Diva Den community, that it doesn’t seem worth it. Diva den is high quality, welcoming yet challengingly, and consistent. And actually quite affordable if you pay in advance. It comes to 52 dollars a month if you buy a year membership. If you want a really good workout, friendly faces, and affordable childcare, try Diva Den!

I have had various services done by the ladies, and they are all fantastic. It’s super convenient that they are in my fitness studio, and I’m so glad they are because they do a really great job!
I’ve been sugared by Aja, Tara and Cammi and it’s a great experience regardless which one I have for my appointment. Sugaring is such a great change of pace from waxing, and if you’ve been meaning to try it, I suggest you do. I’ve been waxed plenty of times, especially eyebrows, and I’ve definitely had some unhappy incidents with wax. It’s always so hot and hurts, and sometimes they take too much off. With sugaring, it still hurts although not as much in my opinion, but it’s also body temperature, and if there’s a mistake or too much, they could just wipe it off without ripping out the hair unlike wax.
Cammi is also a fantastic massage therapist! I prefer deep tissue because I have a few trouble spots, and there is no disappointment. I have had a full body massage and more isolated massages, and she always has me feeling relaxed and refreshed.
I haven’t had nail services, eyelashes or spray tan, but I have seen some of the gorgeous work Tara does with nails, the eyelash extensions are great and look so natural, and I know some of the girls at the studio get spray tans but I can’t tell which and I think that’s a testament to how good they are.
The prices are all really reasonable to other places I’ve been and I feel very comfortable with the space (newly remodeled).
