First time trying this place.
I like their style, logo and product, its very cool and hip.
Service was fast and friendly (it wasn’t a Dutch Bros version of friendly though!)
I enjoyed my chai tea with non-​dairy milk very much!

Sorry starbucks, my 7 year loyalty was broken in one sip. Not only is it delicious but they can pronounce my name! The coffee quality is smooth and not burned (unlike starbucks). The service is incredibly fast and and friendly. Thank you black Rock for bringing coffee to the next level!
10÷28÷15 I have to edit this from 5 stars to 2 because of an experience I had a few months ago that hasn’t brought me back. I bought a drink for my husband that was expensive and he hated it. They made us pay for a regular coffee which was less than half the price. This show of their lack of care for the customer is why I went back to Starbucks where they understand that the loss of a drink that a customer doesn’t like is nothing in their value chain. A happy customer is all that matters.

My favorite coffee stop! Everyone is so friendly and the coffee is AH-​MAZING! We are new to the Portland Area and this is my favorite treat during the week!

I’ve tried different Black Rock coffee bars, enough times that the punch card they give you for after the 10^th drink, you get one free, and each time I have gotten a different person making the drinks at this location. It’s hit or miss at this place with customer service. Some of the workers are nice, but some act they dislike their job. I guess that’s why there’s a turnover in workers. I prefer the Black Rock in Beaverton better.

I work down the road and I start super early. Gave this location another try & ⁴⁄₅ times it comes out just how I like it. Caramel Blondie Chiller w/​out whip

I have stopped at this Black Rock about 6 times now only because it is on the way home from my Dentist, I am not very good about checking in. Trying to figure out how to get there is a bit of a trick, you basically pull into the Sonic Parking lot and have to thread your way around to Black Rock and then thread your way thru the Sonic lot again to get out, kind of confusing the first time.
I would prefer just about any other Coffee joint to Black Rock, even Dutch which I don’t especially like. Black Rock’s coffee is bitter, to my taste buds anyway.
Today I paid over 4 bucks for a «Large» Latte and it felt so light I took the lid off and it was because it was about ¾ of the way full, no foam to speak of.
If there was ANY other coffee place between the dentist and home, I would stop there before BL. I did get caffeinated however.

Great people, great coffee. Simple as that! New to the area and was looking for a new regular coffee spot. This is the one!

This is the best coffee stand in the area! The staff is always so nice and the coffee is soooo good. If it taste off let them know and theyll fix it! I have never had a issue or bad coffee at this stand!

I love the coffee here and it’s like two seconds from my apartment but some of the baristas are soooo rude. Not friendly or conversational AT ALL. Makes me wish that the other black rock off 99 was better at making my coffee cause I would go there instead.

Drip coffee is pretty good but their other drinks are waaaayyy too sweet. I have asked for less choclate and syrups and still too sweet. Also, the service at this location is really bad. You can tell the youth at this location brings the integrity of the over all shop down. My sister and I actively try to avoid this location due to how poor their service is. The one off of Walker Rd is significantly better.

Almost A every day stop!!! Picking up coffee for me and my staff. The staff is friendly, quick and they know how to make an excellent Vanilla Chiller!

I wish I could write a review but the service and wait was so slow that we ended up backing out of the drive thru backwards since it had been nearly 10 minutes and we hadn’t moved yet. Also, this was a saturday at 10:30 a.m. Not sure what the issue was but if i decide to go back and have a good experience then I will update.

I get my coffee here every morning! They are fast and friendly and know how to pull some smooth shots! I never have to wait in line for very long and always love my drink. Not to mention they are FAR more affordable then Starbucks and much better quality coffee

Though I’m not really a fan of Black Rock’s coffee specifically, their drinks are good and their customer service is better. I’ve seen them move through a line of 6 cars in no time, without making the customer feel rushed or insignificant. While the other barista is making a drink, the barista conducting the transaction is great at keeping you occupied with conversation. I’ve never had a drink made wrong here or received bad customer service.

if you don’t know customer service, don’t work there, ridiculous, i go to black rock everyday, but now i will never be back :(

Really great drive up place, right on the way to my kids’ school and activities, so super easy to pop in and out of. Really friendly baristas, great drinks and I love my frequent buyer card that gets you a free coffee after buying 10. My kids love getting a drink with whip cream on the straw, too!
I don’t know if they don’t have them unless you ask but there is never an insert over the drink to keep your hand from getting too hot so that is the only thing that bugs me.

Super great little drive up place. There is a fun selection of great drink recipes to choose from. I’m not often close to this place, but when I am I really enjoy stopping by.
This visit I got one of their iced specialty drinks. I can’t remember the name. It was super yummy. The Barista tends to be the same every time I’m in the area. She does a great job. Quick and yummy place to drive through.
