Unbelievably good food that is prepared quickly right in front of you. The helpings are huge and price is right. However, the best thing is the flavor.

Can’t pass through tifton without a visit! My favorite Japanese fast food! If you like shrimp/yum yum/seafood sauce… You’ll LOVE this one. Food is good but it’s the sauce that makes it!

For a fast food hibachi restaurant, you can’t get much better than this! I ordered the hibachi steak meal and was very impressed. The portion size was very large and the overall meal was tasty. The service there wasn’t the friendliest but at the end of the day it’s a fast food restaurant. My new go-to hibachi restaurant in Tifton!

Food was very good, would recommend this place. It is worth the stop off the highway. They actually serve your food. Very informal however. All the food was fresh and cooked to order. It was pleasant change to a typical fast food burger joint. If you are lookin for a Bennihana this is not the place but if you know what take out place in DC is like it’s kinda like that with a Georgian flare to it. Not extremely authentic but close enough to not be fast food. Enjoy.

Hands down my favorite place to eat when I’m visiting my home state. The sweet carrots with every order are my favorite part. I’ve tried making them at home, but it’s more difficult than one would think. Unlike other reviewers, I like the ton of vegetables thrown into the mix. I’m a fan of their rice and shrimp sauce, and their teriyaki sauce is mild and less sharp than most. Hibachi is really hard to perfect. It’s a fine line between burned and seared. I always find the meat is cooked really well for it being a fast food Japanese restaurant. Sometimes the chicken can come across as a bit dry, but I’d rather overcooked than wondering if I’ll get salmonella. The broccoli is always cooked really well and is crisp and crunchy. Their egg rolls are good, and you can always order sides to go if you want more of a vegetable or more rice. The prices have increased a bit over the years; it’s a couple dollars more expensive than last year when I visited. While that’s a shame, they don’t offer good and quick Japanese food like this where I live. It’s worth the drive. The wait time for the food isn’t long at all, and the chefs seem to keep up with the orders even at the highest volume. They’re ALWAYS busy in both the lobby and the drive thru, so the workers may seem rushed and disconnected. They’re still offering good customer service, but they’re nonstop booked most of the time and are open until 11 every night! My only recommendation is that the workers stop staring and leering at every female that walks through the door. I’ve been eating here for nearly 4 years and I’ve never stopped feeling uncomfortable with the amount of stares and winks I get when I’m ordering. I’ve seen it happen to other women as well, and it’s just not cool. While they may view it as complimentary, I just want my food and to eat without wondering if there’s drool in my rice.

We love Asahi xpress!!! Service is quick and friendly. Food is prepared to order. Prices are decent and food portions are generous. We always get the Hibachi chicken($ 6.25) or the Steak and Chicken($ 10.75). It comes with fried rice, sweet carrots, and Asahi sauce(yum yum sauce). Love the carrots! Drive Thur is available. The staff checks on you and refills your drinks. The place to go for fast food Japanese food.

Really good Asian food. Usually order the hibachi steak and it comes with fried rice and honeyed carrots. It’s so delicious! Plus the sauce is so yummy. This is great if you want really good food at a fast food pace. Nomnom!

I sought out an express Japanese place such as Asahi while traveling from Florida to South Carolina over the weekend. I miss these restaurants from my days living in North Carolina as we don’t have them where I live in Florida. Asahi works well because it’s extremely convenient to I-75, so as long as you’re willing to eat out of a take-out box while riding or driving in a car, you’re all set. The food was all fine, meaning pretty standard for express Japanese. The only part I wasn’t crazy about was the chicken. I had teriyaki chicken and it was too heavy on the teriyaki flavor… more of a bottled, generic taste than I’m used to. The fried rice, carrots, broccoli, and shrimp sauce were all enjoyable though. Everything is always too salty, so that was expected. Just drink lots of water to counteract it 2 teriyaki chicken meals and a hibachi chicken meal for under $ 20. Prices and service were as good or better than we could’ve gotten at Burger King or Wendy’s. Can’t argue with that while traveling.

I had shrimp and scallops on fried rice. Both the shrimp and scallops were fresh. Generous helping of fried rice, brocolli and sweet carrots.
