I’d say for a little local run rag, these folks are keeping the whistles tuned and the peddles moving. The staff works harder than some of the bigger papers around these parts and the final product, although small, shows that hard work. I hear tell that they used to have a police report that was packed with humor, but the writer moved on to bigger things, and now we just have«oh, my, I can’t believe it» police reports. Maybe we can find another writer who sees humor in our local crime stories? This little paper is also lucky enough to have a leather-jacket wearing, salt & pepper bearded, hog-riding, always smiling professional photographer who puts the big time papers’ photographers to shame. Be sure you pick up a copy and see what I’m talking about. Small town paper with a big town heart.
