Thurmont Beer & Deli

I walked in thinking that I would find either a full bar that sold sandwiches on the side or a deli which had a small bar section. Its neither. There is a small deli area with one table and the rest of the space is coolers full of cases of cold beer and pop. A unique kind of place. Its right next to a 7 – 11 which has a blimpys, which may or may not have cheaper beer and pop. On the other side is Fratellis which does have a large sit down area and also sells sandwiches and pizza. It also sells fried chicken and there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken one door down. I don’t understand the business plan of this place. Everybody around it is selling the same thing.
I had a sandwich, mac & cheese, and a drink. They were very good. The prices were quite reasonable.
They also sell breakfast.
