This Hardings is okay for essentials and sale items which turn over quickly. I have bought fresh fruit and vegetables here which were already past prime, which you can’t tell without cutting them open. Its good that they are here because it saves a trip to their Bridgman store or Barney’s in New Buffalo, but they are not my first choice otherwise.

This is the market I shop out for most my essential needs. They are the only full service Grocery store we have in our town and don’t have a huge facility. I pretty much always find what I need and am in there 4 times a week. Considering their size and being the only game in town, their prices are very reasonable and customer service is great. It is a small hometown market, It is not a dump like stated by the friendly Illinois resident below. I am so glad they are here in town.

What a dump. I wanted to get a couple of tomatos for dinner and I had to shoo away the fruit flies. The meat looked gray, the store is dirty and the boxes by the window are all faided. I got some Chex mix and there was mold on the crackers. Get me out of this dead horse town.

Yeah, so, I’m biased. I used to work for Jim back in the day but I still find myself shopping here when I’m back in town. The service can’t be beat, really! Who carries out groceries anymore?
