Studio Moxie – Danya Micah

Don’t ever leave reviews but I have to because this Beautiful lady made my hair made my hair perfect!!! Started with the best consultation so there was no confusion!!! My hair started from a very dark brown and she made me a very beautiful golden blonde!!! It took a little bit of time because that’s the way she is… She took so much pride and made it perfect! I love my hair I could go on for days that she had foils him right root tone and color perfect!!! Wow!!!

Like at least one other of Danya’s male clients, I have jumped around a lot when it comes to my haircuts over the years, both in Los Angeles and the Conejo Valley.
I felt the urge a while back to again find someone new; I came across Studio Moxie on Unilocal.
I liked the name, the location and the reviews. Since I am a complete pest in the chair and must be reminded repeatedly to sit still and shut up, my cutters must combine patience with raw imagination, focus and ability in the face of client-​induced distractions.
Danya brings all that to table, plus a sense of humor. She is a great conversationalist, especially when it comes to recommending the haircut that best suits me. This makes for a fun visit and results in some of the most consistently excellent and stylish cuts that have recently graced this head.
Along with her wonderful assistant CC, and excellent refreshments, Danya’s Studio Moxie is now, and will continue to be, my preferred destination for this all important grooming experience.

Danya is amazing! Most skilled stylist I’ve ever met. Went to her through a recommendation and I will never go anywhere else. She is the only stylist I have ever returned to. Get so many compliments when she does my hair. And her easy going personality is a plus.

Danya Micah at Studio Moxie is a wonderful stylist. She knows her craft and takes the time to find out what you want and need and always gives you ideas and suggestions to give you the best cut and color for your hair type. She makes sure you are totally happy before you ever think of leaving. The Studio Suites is an amazing concept. No more noise and caos of a traditional salon. Her private suite is relaxing and lets her focus on you and not the salon drama. Give Danya a try you wont be sorry. She focuses her attention on you and is alot of fun at the same time.

Nobody is allowed to cut my hair except Danya. She is the best at it. Every time I leave I am more than happy with the service she provides.

For the the last 30 years I have never settled into one person that would cut my hair. I bounced all over, never really being happy with my results. Often I would just go back to giving myself a # 1 buzz cut. Finally I met Danya and haven’t looked back since. She spent a good amount of time discussing what i wanted with my hair. Then she discussed with me a couple other options. together we agreed on a look and she did a terrific job with my hair. No rush to get someone else into the chair. I have now been seeing Danya for two years and I’ve never been happier with the look of my hair.
Each time I go in, she asks how i liked the last cut and if i want to do anything different. I really like her approach. My hair is the healthiest its been in many years and looks better than ever. Danya is patient, and talented at what she does. If your goal is a great cut that you agree with, then See Danya. Her new studio is right in the heart of Thousand Oaks. You won’t be disappointed.

Let me start by saying Danya Micah is marvelous! She has been cutting my hair for over six years and I can tell you now, I’ll follow her wherever she goes. She is talented, knowledgeable, honest, and kind. Her integrity translates flawlessly into her work and her studio.
The best part of going to Danya (aside from getting to spend time with a fabulously fun woman) is that she won’t let you leave unless you are happy. She wants you to look and feel beautiful when you leave her chair. Every time I leave I have a smile on my face and a spring in my step. You will too! Trust me. Three words — I love Danya! I used to go to a salon in Beverly Hills, but when I relocated, I decided to give a local salon a try. I met Danya at Guy Matthew Salon and was so bummed when she left. I went to her new salon, however, and love it even better! I feel so comfortable at her new place. The salon suites are a great concept.
Not only is Danya more talented than my former salon in BH, but she does a much better job and doesn’t overcharge me. The first time I had my hair done by her, I had so many complements. She knows how to color and cut hair, and she is fun to hang around with while I am getting my hair done.
All I can say is «good-​bye Beverly Hills salons.» You have nothing on Danya.

I found Donya when she was at Guy Matthew Salon and was excited to hear she was moving closer to me in TO! I went to see her the other day and love her new place. It’s a private suite and I was able to bring my little one with me so he could play while she did my hair. She’s always been straight up with me about my hair and she takes the time to ask the right questions to make sure I leave happy. I have short hair so I see her every few weeks and get compliments on my hair all the time!

I started going to Danya when she was managing Guy Matthew Salon in Agoura Hills. I liked that she really listens to what you want and, especially, what you don’t want! You can show her a picture of your ideal cut or just ask for what she thinks would look great and she nails it! Her cuts are consistent and last a long time, and she has a great eye for color. Her prices are reasonable and she won’t try to sell you products or services you don’t need. If you have styling questions after a cut or need a quick bang trim, she’s there to help you out.
I love her new location. It’s private and you get her full attention. Great location in Salon Suites which I think is a very cool concept. Various independent practitioners doing their thing in individual, mini salons. Everything from waxing to massages is at your convenience.
If you’re looking for a new stylist or thinking of making a change, try Danya. She’s a VERY talented and interesting person with a great personality. I always have so much fun when I go. Enjoy a relaxing glass a wine, good conversation and leave feeling beautiful. That’s tough to beat!

Danya has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 6 years now. When i met her, i felt so comfortable with her so i decided to have her do my hair. It was one really great decision! It looked so good my mom goes to her now too. She always gives me exactly what i ask for, and that is very important to me because my natural dark hair is challenging to lift to pale blonde without damaging it. Its hard to find a hair dresser that can perfect a bleach and tone, but Danya always gets it right! Not to mention, she’s so fun to talk to i never want to leave at the end of my visit. highly recommend her!

Danya Micah’s Studio Moxie is absolutely fabulous! Danya has been coloring and styling my hair for years and tonight was my first time at her new location at the Salon Suites. As always, she has done a great job and the experience is a dream — wine, tea, snacks all in the private suite. The location is a reflection of Danya’s impeccable style, creativity, and personal touch. Danya is not only a talented hair stylist but she is an insightful and caring person.
