Outdoor Movies By You

I found this company to be very unprofessional and rude! Our school planned ordered their special (at the time) three events for a set price which included 50 bags of popcorn. Well, our popcorn was delivered to us in a black trash bag… what? really? The projector encountered a problem during the showing and the rep for the company was no where to be found to resolve the problem. I called him and he was no where on the premises any longer… luckily we had a parent on hand who resolved the issue. The rep (whom I believe to be the co-​owner/​husband) who set up was rude to the children at the event, Elementary school children, saying they were loud and in the way (this is the info I received via phone from the other co-​owner, the wife, I believe), The breakdown was no better as several father’s pitched in for this as well. In several conversations with the co-owner/“wife” via phone and email she came off very defensive and full of excuses and to what, we the clients, did wrong. She was abrasive, unpleasant and again VERY unprofessional. Would I recommend this company to anyone? No… not even my worst enemy (which I have none). Do I give this company one (1) Star? Yes, but only because Unilocal does not allow zero stars!

We had a fantastic experience with Carrie and Outdoor Movies By You. Carrie was totally on top of everything during the process of booking my event and kept me informed of everything I needed to know. They got here on time and set up was fast! We will definitely be using them again. Can’t wait to book our next event.

We just had our son’s 10^th birthday with Outdoor movies by you last Friday (⁹⁄₂₆). Carrie and her husband were very helpful to make sure I had the space in our backyard (away from the pool) for our fun «Dive in Movie».
I scheduled about 6 weeks in advance (schedule early, they book up fast for weekends) and emailed to confirm the date and time about a week before. I originally scheduled the movie to start at 8:00, but decided that it would be dark enough at 7:30. They easily changed the time and they arrived to set-​up at 6:45. The movie was ready to go by 7:15, but I asked if we could wait till 7:30. No problem at all!
We had a bit of wind throughout the afternoon, which worried me a bit because of the last review about cancelling due to wind. As soon as it was dark, the wind was gone and no issues whatsoever!

The sound and movie screen were perfect size and the kids had such a great time.
Thank you again for the great experience and a great party! We will definately use Outdoor Movies by You again!
