We went here earlier today to pick up some supplies for our oldest son who is a fishing fanatic. Our son had given us a list of things to get and the owner of the store knew exactly what it was we needed. He gave us so much advice that we had to call our son to check whether it was ok to get something slightly different.
We felt really great about fish and tackle when our don confirmed everytime that the owner made a great suggestion. Our son having read every book there is about fishing and having a wealth of knowledge is not convinced easily.
The owner definitely knows his fishing stuff and is not trying to sell you something you do not need. He genuinely wants to help you have the best possible fishing experience.
Way to go fish and tackle.

Very friendly staff and the largest selection of fly fishing gear in the area. I am new to fly fishing and have been bombarding the staff with questions regarding technique and gear. Jimmy is the man when it comes to fly fishing and will answer any questions you have in a polite manner.
The shop is small, but organized well, and contains everything you need for all types of fishing. Whether you are chasing giant Tuna in the Channel Islands or Rainbow Trout in the Sierras, Malibu Fish’n Tackle will hook you up. Cheers
