Brent helped settle a debt for me with affordable payments back in 2011. When I tried to get a pay off balance from the collection company I was given a balance that was more than what I owed to begin with. All my communication with the company was to no avail. They would not change the amount.

One of the questions for me was to hire an attorney or do my own papers. I met with Brent George and immediately decided it was best to hire him. One he seemed very knowledgeable and two his rate was fair; therefore, why risk a problem without legal counsel to advise you. So I hired him and I’m glad I did. Not because I had a problem. Initially, I had contacted him 2 days before Christmas as I was simultaneously served papers to appear in court. I have a family member who is not particularly web savvy who found themselves in need of an attorney. So they called me and I spent a couple minutes researching online. Obviously I am a big fan of Unilocal so that was one of the first places I went to find a bankruptcy attorney. There were a couple of lawyers, all with one really good review. All right, then. So I did a little searching online and found some lawyer review sites, yellow pages, etc. Brent had a ton of glowing reviews on those sites but only 1 on Unilocal.I think that is a shame because he is very understanding, which is something that a person needs when they are facing the financial strain of a bankruptcy. I met with him once with my family member (sorry about being vague, bankruptcy is not a thing most people want publicized) and he figured out a plan to help eliminate their debt payments and free up some cash flow.
That is really why I felt compelled to write up a review because a lawyer like Brent should stand out on Unilocal as well.
