Kelsey Kare

Kelsey is phenomenal! We can’t thank her enough for stepping in last-​minute and taking care of our precious Chloe.
After our regular dog walker told us that he was going on vacation for two weeks (conveniently during the weekend of our wedding!), my husband and I found ourselves scrambling to find someone who could care for our 6-​year old lab mix.
Kelsey responded quickly to our call and met with us a few days prior to get acquainted with Chloe and ensure she had all the details that she needed to properly take care of her.
Throughout her daily visits, Kelsey provided us with updates via text message and pictures of our pup to keep our minds at ease. Kelsey even kept us in-​the-​know with Chloe’s medication schedule.
Kelsey is trustworthy and responsible. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again and again!

Wow, where do I even begin. Kelsey has been an incredible dog sitter for me over the last year. Being that I am a full-​time student and full-​time employer, I can’t always be home at all times of the day to take care of my sweet boy. When my boyfriend moved away for medical school, I knew I needed someone trust worthy and loving that can come help me with my dog. Kelsey went above and beyond for me. Some days I would text her the morning of, hoping with fingers crossed that she would be able to make time for my Milo. She always came through. My dog is obsessed with her! She sends me pictures of them, plays with him, make sure his water bowl is always full, she is simply the best. I couldn’t trust Milo in better hands. I strongly recommend her to anyone that needs pet or child care. She just has that maternal touch, and she genuinely cares about animals and people.

Kelsey has been taking care of my three older Burmese cats for about a year.
I travel a lot and over the years I have had many cat sitters, but None as good as Kelsey.
I have two that need medical attention, one diabetic. Kelsey is very good taking the blood sugar tests and adjusting the insulin.
She is Always right on time, to feed and administer the shot, which is critical. Very reliable and efficient. I feel very comfortable trusting her in my home.
A very good person, very smart, the kind of person you can trust your animals and your home with.
I highly recommend Kelsey Kare, and very happy I found her.

I have two dogs with very different personalities and was a bit apprehensive about using someone new. I found Kelsey online and immediately felt comfortable talking to her on the phone. We scheduled an intro visit where she came over and spent about an hour with me and my dogs getting to know them, taking them on a walk and going over all of the details for their care. One of my dogs had recently hurt her leg and was limping and on medication. Kelsey took the time to take them out separately so each one could get the attention that they needed.
She stayed overnight in my home with them for 5 days and took care of things around the house like mail and trash cans. My house looked beautiful when we returned. I was very impressed, since I am an absolute «neat freak».
We have used her for last minute walks as well. What I appreciate most about her, aside from the love and attention she gives my dogs, is that she always communicates in a timely manner and tries her best to accommodate all of our needs. If she is unavailable for some reason, she tries to find another dog sitter for us. She always text me pictures of my dogs and lets me know in detail how my dogs are doing on a daily basis when we are away. I love that! Bella and Sammy love their time with her and are looking forward to her next visit.
I would recommend Kelsey Kare because of her attentiveness, professionalism and most of all, her love of animals. :)

My husband and I went to the Bahamas for a week and being that it was a family trip, we didn’t have anyone to watch our boy Rex. We turned to Kelsey and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire her. Rex tore his ACL about a month before our trip and he was on strict rest. Having him be taken care of in our home was very convenient and eased the stress of losing the small gains we had made before we left.
Also, Kelsey did a walk through with me the week before we left and took detailed notes that she shared with me via email before we left, in case I had any adjustments. Her notes not only included information for Rex’s care, but also included detailed directions for coming and going into our home and setting our alarm etc. this made us feel safe, knowing we can trust that our home would also be safe in our absence. It was like having a house sitter and pet sitter all in one.
The day before our trip I found out I would be receiving a package that needed to be signed off for. This would have been a huge inconvenience had it not been for Kelsey agreeing to come to our home and stay a couple hours in the morning to sign for my package. Another headache avoided!
When we got back from the Bahamas, Rex was very happy to see us but was not a ball of overstimulated stress like he normally is when we leave for long periods of time. This shows me that he got lots of love and attention while we were away. His leg also seemed to be doing even better than it was before we left so I know Kelsey followed our directions for his care. This solidified that we made the right choice picking Kelsey Kare.
I highly recommend Kelsey and I will definitely be using her again and again
