Juice It Up!

I decided to stop by on my way home from work after seeing the Happy Hour deals on Unilocal.But both the employees behind the counter had no idea what I was talking about and wouldn’t honor the deal… so I just decided to drive down the road to Jamba Juice. Hard to give a review since I didn’t try the juices, but the blank looks and dull personalities were enough for me to go elsewhere.

Seems like there’s some mixed reviews for Juice It Up. Not entirely sure why but it appears there’s inconsistency with the customer service. Well the 3 or 4 times I’ve been here customer service has not been an issue.
I like the variety of the different smoothies they offer. Many of them are similar to Jamba Juice but with slight variations. There are times when Jamba options feel stale so the menu options at Juice It Up are refreshing. I also like the location of Juice It Up. Jamba’s location is good but the parking lot is an absolute zoo. Also the seating outside of Jamba is shared by Noah’s and Starbucks so finding a place to enjoy your smoothie can be a struggle. Juice It Up has inside and outside seating that’s covered. These are definitely pluses in my book.
One last perk of Juice It Up is the price. On average you can save almost $ 1 per smoothie versus Jamba. Juice It Up has coupons in a variety of places and also has loyalty cards for more frequent customers. So for my money and time Juice It Up has my business.

Mango mania is a good choice here if you like mango & strawberries! :) $ 5 for medium size

My son and I stopped in on our way to his practice and grabbed a smoothie and a Acai bowl.
The fruit smoothie was good basic nothing fancy as the ingredients were standard fare. But 4 stars nonetheless fresh and good.
The Acai bowl not so much. The actual Acai mix didn’t taste right and the fruit toppings while fresh were so skimpy it was embarrassing. The bigger problem was the supposedly fresh granola used wasn’t freshly made in fact it came out of a cereal box that you would get at a market… 1 Star
The store is clean and bright. It feels minimal but inviting.
The service is a mixed bag very young staff eager to please but not very well trained in the service or food industry. Friendly and energetic but inexperienced so be patient.
I really wanted to like it maybe it was just a bad day or training issue? I would come back to grab a smoothie when in the area but not the Acai bowl.

Juice has always been decent… The only thing I can’t stand about this location is the choice in music. It’s supposed to be a «healthy» ambiance yet the music is like a night club for intoxicated lustful dancers. Every time I’ve come for a juice during the afternoon, in beautiful Thousand Oaks this place is bumping what in my opinion is strip club music… I don’t like to hear about lil Wayne’s sexual endeavors while I’m waiting for my juice!

My kids love this place. I like you can call your order In and it’s ready when you get there. It’s very clean inside and the staff is very nice.

Nothing has changed. Smart alec kids working, who you can see spray each other with a hose from behind the window and worst of all inconsistent based on who makes my drink. Only 4 people know how to make a drink correctly. Obviously horrible management. Done with this place and are my family and friends. Hope you miss a lot of your business. Never will go here even if I’m starving or dying of thirst. Rather drive to jam a juice, the healthy place or any fast food joint then come here. My family and friends agree. Adiós

Bummer the reviews are so poor. I went there for the first time the other day and 1) absolutely loved it 2) loved my smoothie (mango mania) 3) I forgot my credit card at home and I only had about 2 bucks in cash so they gave me the smoothie for free. That was such a wonderfully moving action, I teared up when I got back to my car. I plan to come back many times forward, and repay the 4 bucks I owe them!

Wife went there today. They forgot about her and she stood there for about 20min before mentioning they haven’t yet served her drinks. Also all drinks outside of Apple, orange and carrot juice all other juices are comes from CONCENTRATE!!! I mean I guess this makes some sense, but that doesn’t mean there service is excusable.

My wife took the kids as we were excited it was opening and in walking distance. So the family decided to take a walk with our four children and try it. In general the smoothies were good and the kids enjoyed them. The issue was that we bought four smoothies and did not buy a whole smoothie for our two year old. My wife asked for a small cup so we could give the two year old some. They refused and said all must buy their own smoothie. To be honest they were not very nice about it. While if it was an older child I probably wouldn’t have a problem with the «policy» But for a two year old where we will throw half of it out does not make sense. It makes it obvious this is not a kid friendly place and my wife has decided we should not return or maybe not until our son is old enough for his own.

This place rocks. The staff is friendly and great. My daughter loves this place and the free Wifi. I love the daily week day specials. It really makes this affordable and fun on a hot summer day.
The front of house is always very clean and they have great music playing, but not too loud to be annoying. The free «boost» are a great plus, thought I don’t know how much they actually help.
I hope they stay around for a long time. The definitely have made a new customer out of me.

New place. I love it! They have this awesome acai bowl set up. If you never had an acai bowl, you are missing out. Great service too. My wife had a ZONE protein smoothie and she loved that too.

I was roaming around the and noticed this new juice parlor and who would not want to beat the heat in this scorching heat.
Amazing customer service and refreshing taste.
Must try!
