This review is for drop off services. We recently moved and are finding all kinds of things that we do not want/need anymore but would be great for someone else: clothes, tables, vacuums, kid toys like skateboards and outgrown bicycles. Kid and dog in car we barely wasted any time on a mid day Sunday, drop off services were really easy, even if it is never fun to drive behind big buildings. It was quick and painless and nice to know they are so easy.

I always want to like this store but lately I haven’t found anything, The parking can be a bit of a challenge.
The prices seemed to have gone up. The clerks are always friendly and the store is clean.

Scored on a huge wine rack a glass cocktail table some clothes and shoes. They have everything in there for people like me that just bought a new place and need décor for cheap.

I come to this goodwill at least once a week. It’s a bit grungy and not super clean, but if you’re willing to look past the cleanliness factor you can find some nice stuff. The cashiers are always very nice as well as the management staff. I would recommend staying away from the furniture though unless you have a 25% off coupon because it’s normally pretty overpriced. You can get a coupon by making a simple donation(tshirt, toy, etc.) and they’re good for any goodwill in the Ventura county district. Definitely recommend stopping by here if you’re a goodwill hunter like myself!

This store is hit or miss. I visit weekly and buy something about half the time. A lot of their items are overpriced for a thrift, but they run decent sales now and then. My biggest complaint is that a lot of the items are dirty, broken, or missing pieces. DVDs, CDs, and video games are frequently missing from their cases. You really have to check everything before you buy it because they don’t take returns except on electronics. The main reason I’m giving this store four stars instead of three is because I’ve noticed their new cashiers to be very friendly. They remember the store’s regular customers, and offer to wrap breakables(I had noticed that some of the cashiers who used to work here don’t do this). The store is worth a look, at least.

Love this place! If you exercise patience and utilize your keen eye, you’ll score some awesome finds. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for a thrift store in Thousand Oaks, but my wallet and I left quite smitten. The inevitable smell of a store filled with clothes and items from gawd-knows-where is a bit off-putting, but nothing that can’t be endured. A breakdown of prices: Long sleeves = 4.99 Jackets and dresses = $ 7.99 DVDs = $ 2.99 Paperback books = $ 0.99 Hardcover books = $ 2.99 I walked out with 15 books, Bridesmaids DVD, a mesh skater dress, a chic blouse, and a vintage suede jacket from the 70s for $ 40. That, my friends, is a beautiful thing. An extra star given to the upbeat cashier exuding positivity and good vibes. Coolest dude ever.(Note to business: up his pay. You need more workers like him!)

Ok sized store. A little over priced for used items. Have been there a few times. Went there last night and sign said open so I walked in the door started looking around… Worker lady comes out and sees me and shouts rudely«were closed»! I was like«what? When do you close?». She replies«we closed an hour ago!». I said ok and as I was walking out of the store she yells at the back… «Did anyone lock the door.» Come on… Don’t yell at customers who come in when your door is unlocked and your sign says open after you have been closed for 1 hour. This store needs to train their employees on Costumer service and proper closing procedure.

This is a tiny store, so not much to offer. I have only been there one time and was not terribly impressed with selection and prices.

They have a great system for dropping off donations of clothes. Drive around to the back and you will find a small crew of guys there to help you empty your car. They also take electronic recycle every day.

This was my second time here. While it is pretty clean, there was a man with a medium sized dog in there. Wasn’t a service dog. I didn’t have a problem with it until another man brought in a huge St Bernard, who started barking like crazy at other dog. As much as myself and kids love dogs, it was very distracting. The workers in store didn’t say a word. That’s where I had the problem.

I like this Goodwill store. Thouand Oaks doesn’t have a large selection of thrift stores and this is one I tend to go to first. They are a small/medium sized Goodwill, with a newer remodel and relatively clean and easy to navigate layout. Moderate section of home goods, large selection of women’s clothes, and some kids and men’s clothes. Not good for finding animal supplies/cages or kid’s toys. Not good for finding fancy dresses, but good for everyday wear and picture frames. Friendly staff and good sales once a month. Daily sales on select merchandise that has been in the strore too long. This location has a drop off center at the back of the store.

Just OK, I love to thrift and this store was just OK. Maybe I caught it on a bad day… better luck next time.

I love Goodwill, I really do. I try to make my way into Goodwill at least once a month. Then my Grandma told me they opened a Goodwill by her, this one! Now I try to go in once a week. or every two weeks. The best section for me has been the baby clothes, for my 5 month old. The selection is AWESOME for kids. Many other Goodwill locations only have one rack, this location has at least 5. I also came up on an awesome Where the Wild Things Are framed poster! $ 10, can’t beat that. I noticed this Goodwill also has 50% OFFEVERYTHING deals every Wednesday from 5−8PM(I believe). I haven’t been able to make it during those sales but I can imagine it is hectic. probably worth it though? Go look & shop!

This is located in the former Pier 1 Import store. Good location, parking is in a lot, pretty big space. It is similar to all Goodwill Stores. I happened to be there on customer appreciation day when everything was 50% off so people were shopping like mad. Some good buys then. Otherwise, prices are mid-range. What is nice about Goodwill is they take credit and debit cards, and you can some items within 7 days and get store credit.

This is a really nice Goodwill. Prices are better than Orange County Goodwills! The staff here is awesome — really nice. This is probably the cleanest Goodwill I have ever been to. I stop in at least once a week to scour the place for any vintage or quirky goods. Last time I found a Samsonite train case in excellent condition for $ 2.99 :)

This is an ok Goodwill – I’ve found a few pairs of nice women’s jeans(Seven for all Mankind, Hydraulic) and a good belt, and my fiancé found some tshirts that are practically new. There’s no dressing room because of problems with shoplifting, but they allow you to exchange things within 7 days if they don’t fit. I’d recommend stopping if you’re in the area, but don’t make a special trip.
