Remember: CASHONLY! The donuts here are very very good, I went and grabbed a dozen donuts for my co workers early in the morning before heading into work, I saw this place opens at 4am, great for early birds. It is the first time I ever came here. And the donuts here are very very good. They are fluffy and not heavy, and not too sweet. I wanna get the donut holes and a croissant. It is you typical small hole in the wall donut joint. I recommended this place for getting donuts in this area. 5 stars!

Have tried many and have found nothing better yet. Great croissant sandwiches too. These will be on my daughters dessert table at her wedding as she requested.

I don’t really like donuts but when I eat them I only eat Foster Donuts. The chocolate over glazed are the best. Don’t go anywhere else!

Huge selection of sinful donuts. I love the cronuts — they are fluffy and quite large.

Best cronuts I’ve ever had, which is a pretty tough category in Southern California. If you’ve never had a cronut… fix that.

These donut are HUGE. They’re pretty fresh anytime of day. They have a huge variety and breakfast sandwiches too. Fresh cinnamon rolls and Cronuts. Only negative is price. Donuts are about $ 2

Best donuts in the area. Workers barely speak English and are not friendly but I don’t go to a donut shop for chit chat. Grab a bag and get going. Note this place is CASHONLY but they do have an ATM if you forget. Try their fake Cronuts — not as good as the ones you have to stand in line 5 hours for in Manhattan but good nonetheless and only two bucks. Cream puffs are surprisingly good. Also, they sell a full range of lottery tickets. If you need a laundromat there’s one two doors down and there’s Mexican groceries a few steps away.

Great donuts. Lots of variety. Kids loved ‘em. Decent coffee, not great. But I went there for the donuts and was not disappointed. Next time will try to bacon topped maple bar.

This place has amazing donuts. My wife enjoyed a cronut«it was amazing». I had a bite and it was really good. One of the best maple bars I’ve had, convincing enough to make me question why is pay more than 1.35 for a pastry at Sbucks when they can’t get close to enjoyable pastries.

CASHONLY! I stopped here on the recommendation of a friend. She and I live in the same city of Ojai and when she said she loves Fosters here in TO I reminded her we have donut shops in Ojai too. She said, Yes, but not like Fosters. They’re so much better! So I had to try them. The first thing I noticed was the specialty donuts like the maple bacon bar, the cronut(croissant donut) and the one with fruity pebbles sprinkled on it. They were all so beautiful and so delicious looking. I ordered a box for my office and filled it with a half-dozen or so donuts. The next thing I noticed was the sign over the register that said CASHONLY. Sadly, I had no cash on me! OMG how embarrassing. I had to ask the man to hold my box while I ran back to my car and borrowed money from my friend who was waiting on me. Anyway it was sort of inconvenient but now I’ll know for next time. My coworkers loved the donuts and so did I. Very nice flavor and lots of bold tasty sugary frosting. I’ll definitely come back!

Some say all donut shops are the same. I beg to differ. This one takes the cake! Friendly(quick) service and delicious! Also some fun different flavors you don’t see everywhere, like vanilla donut with fruity pebbles!

The best donuts ever, great apple fritters, and jelly filled donuts. The owners are the best in Thousand Oaks, they are very friendly and they care. They always call you by your name once they know you.

A nice assortment of doughnuts and other pastries. I give them credit for attempting the croissant doughnut, but it wasn’t raised enough and slightly doughy in the middle. On a positive note, their bacon maple bars are really good.

Received a filled donut cake for my birthday and it’s honestly the best and the biggest donut I’ve ever had! The one thing I noticed after biting this huge ring of deliciousness was there was no tangy typical donut after taste! I was presently surprised. Ying is great to work with and is willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill your desired request! This has become the new go to donut place for me.

I’ve had a lot of donuts before but they don’t come close to this place!!! Their donuts are always fresh and seem like they make them all day. I know some donut places that make donuts once a day and you can definitely tell. I love glazed twist donuts and fruit filled. You can definitely tell that the donuts have fillings and how much. Yummmm!!! I do hate the parking lot here because it’s super tight and when venders come with trucks it’s a nightmare but totally worth the hassle. Also there is a laundrymat in the same walking distance as the complex so it’s super easy to do laundry and enjoy a donut and a coke :)

Foster’s is now making their very own version of the«cronut», you know, that croissant-donut combo that is taking NYC by storm? Never having tasted the original version, I had to have this one. It looked delicious, you can see the flaky layers just by seeing the cronut in the case. When you bit into it, it’s slightly denser than you might expect. Not as soft as a croissant, but not as dense as a cake donut. It just has nice density as you bite through the layers. The outside of the cronut, gets this lovely crispiness from being fried and yet manages to still be flaky in that messy croissant way. I’m almost sorry that I found these, as I know I’ll be going back regularly for more.

Having now been to most of the donut shops that border Thousand Oaks Blvd, I’ve realized that while many of them are equally great, I’d choose to go to a different one based on what I was in the mood for. Feeling like an absolutely massive donut or some ice cream? Skip on over to Foster’s Donuts. Star 1 — How was the service and atmosphere? With a saint of a woman behind the counter, Foster’s is brilliant. The amount of seating and cleanliness surpass Gladstone’s, Stan’s and Donut Depot easily, and the owner’s are sure to put a smile on your face while knowing literally everything there is to know about their selection. Star 2 — How were the portions relative to the cost? WOW. Okay. If you’re feeling donuts, you should probably commit to completely wrecking your diet before walking thru the doors of Foster’s. No pansy little rings or donut holes here. Legitimately, Foster’s entire selection consists only of some of the biggest donuts you’ve ever seen, and for just under $ 2, I was given this monstrosity: Oof! If you’re down for it, Foster’s will give you some of the best donut value you’ve ever seen. The only downside to this is that because the donuts are so massive(even the plain glazed rings), you pretty much need to commit to one instead of getting smaller portions of a few. Would be nice to see some donut holes in the future. Star Granted. Stars ¾ — How was the food? So take a donut… glaze it… put chocolate chips on top… and then fill it with more chocolate chips. YUM: While I’ve found it’s a bit challenging to differentiate between donuts, the donuts at Foster’s are tasty, and their selection, while not as exotic as Stan’s or as basic as Donut Depot, are a good halfway point between boring and too adventurous. With about 20 different kinds, it won’t be difficult to find something to suit your fancy. Single Star Granted. Star 5 — Would you eat it every day if you could? You know, while I couldn’t by any means eat a donut every single day, I could easily come to Foster’s every day thanks to their impressive selection of ice creams that compliment their donuts. Not feeling like a massive donut? With roughly 8 – 10 flavours that are very reasonably priced, Foster’s is a brilliant stop to satisfy a sweet tooth, and I’d put it right on par with Gladstone’s and Stan’s. Star Granted.
