Cal Lutheran University Pearson Library

I’m really surprised at the state of this library considering how much tuition costs here. Admittedly I don’t really use the library for it’s books, more as a study space and group project work space. So I can’t really comment on the content but this library is so dated and really small and at the point of overcrowded every time I go. Study rooms can be booked in advance online but they definitely fill up. I’m attending CLU for grad school and my undergraduate institution cost a quarter if what CLU does semesterly and the library there was much nicer, much bigger, with way better features. I will admit the small courtyard in the center with trees is nice, but the whole building could use some major renovating.

We have seen a lot of libraries, and this one falls right about in the middle — some nicer some less nice, so 3 stars sounds about right.
It is relatively small, but has some nice comfy reading spots along with desks and study carrels. A good number of windows, providing ample natural light is nice.
