After a botched skin cancer removal, Dr Kaufman revised my scar. With almost a 100% improvement I could not be happier. He and his staff were spectacular throughout the process and I am beyond pleased with the results.

I was treated by Dr. Kaufman in November 2015 related to melanoma on my nose. He performed MOHS surgery and the excellent results I have are a testament to his superior surgical skills. His bedside manner was kind and thoughtful and he took the necessary time to answer all my questions during my several appointments. The entire staff was wonderful, from Tiffany in reception right through recovery and post-​op visits. I rarely ever take the time to provide reviews for any person, product or service, but I am making this exception because it is important to provide information for something as crucial as medical care of this nature and high quality. Just had a Mohs procedure this morning. The procedure was virtually painless and I was kept informed every step of the way. Dr. Kaufman and his staff did a great job. I was extremely impressed with the surgery center as well. Dr. Kaufman was professional and friendly throughout the process. They even offered a wound care kit for a minimal price when I left. If I could give a 5+ rating I would.

My dermatologist recommended Dr. Kaufman to me and said if she were to need Mohs surgery, he is the person she would choose.
This was my first experience with skin cancer and this procedure. Although Dr. Kaufman is very busy and doesn’t waste time with chit-​chat, I can appreciate this, as this enables him to fit in more patients. If I require the surgery again in the future, I would hate to wait months for because he takes fewer patients a day.
He does amazing work, is patient explaining things and is very thorough. Although he is busy, he had me come back to the office many times after my appt in the following weeks because my recovery was a bit lengthier. They did not charge for follow-​ups while they continued to check to ensure everything was healing properly.
I have been using the Biocorneum twice a day as they recommended, and what seemed like it should be a ghastly scar across my forehead is hardly visible after just four months. I know that this is greatly due to his reconstructive surgery skills as well.
The staff are wonderful — most businesses could learn a thing or two from them. Tiffany at the front desk has quite possibly the best customer service skills I have ever encountered. She was able to fit me in early, was friendly, caring, and welcoming.
Although I am moving from the area, if I ever need this surgery again, I will be flying back for Dr. Kaufman to do it. It gives me great peace of mind knowing there is someone like him available to perform such great work should I ever need it.

I cannot begin to express the fantastic experience at Dr. kaufman’s office. Yes it is surgery, but the level of comfort, expertise and knowledge of MOHs surgery makes up for any discomfort. The entire staff is more than competent. Tiffany, Krista and Kim are comforting and reassuring. The office itself is modern, with up to date medical equipment.

I had a spot on my right temple and my Doctor referred me to Dr. Kaufman for the Mohs procedure due to my spots location. Since this was my first experience with skin cancer, I had some anxiety, but Dr. Kaufman came highly recommended.
Upon my consultation, I was unsettled by his seemingly distant approach as well as his matter-​of –fact monotone description of the procedure. While the «bedside manner» wasn’t warm, the description was thorough. I can share that what he lacked in personality however, was made up for by his wonderful staff. That said, I did have reservations, but decided to stick with him. I’m glad I did.
I am very happy to report that after 18 months, there is very little scarring and you literally have to search the temple to find the location, not that I really want to! Also, during the actual procedure, he was more approachable than in the initial consultation.
He’s busy… and I’m certain it is because of his results, which after all, isn’t that why you chose a doctor?!

Dr. Kaufman and staff are the epitome of perfection. Dr. Kaufman treated and removed a basal cell tumor from my cheek area, in one day through a systematic procedure that was done with precise timing and on the same day reconstructed the damage done in removing. They are the busiest Doctor’s office and I know why they are outstanding Professionals infact Dr. Kaufman was written up in Super Doctors in a publication. I recommend him as a doctor who I consider the best I have ever gone to and recommend him with no hesitation, same for his staff they are wonderful.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kaufman. I needed MOHS surgery on the side of my nose and had an excellent result. The nurses and receptionist are very kind and efficient. Dr. Kaufman took the time to answer my questions thoroughly. If i ever need another skin cancer surgery I will return to Dr. Kaufman and I will recommend him to all my friends.

I believe that Dr. Kaufman has been unfairly reviewed. I am a skin cancer survivor and a patient of Dr. Kaufman’s for Moh’s micrographic surgery. I have had several surgeries performed by Dr. Kaufman on my face. I have no disfigurement, my scars do not show and not only did he remove life-​threatening cancers from my face, but he educated me on ways to care for my skin.

I am so impressed by the efficiency and organization of this office. I am very thankful for their treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaufman and his staff. Thank you for keeping me informed and your exceptional care.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kaufman’s for about 4 ½ years and I truly wouldn’t go to any other dermatologist. His skills as a surgeon are beyond amazing! The office is very nice, conveniently located across from the Oaks Mall, and the staff is outstanding, very knowledgeable and friendly. I guess the best compliment I could give him is that, if my loved ones ever need to have Mohs surgery, I will recommend him without reservation!

I had a prominent basal cell carcinoma taken off my face by Dr. Kaufman (using the Mohs method). The resulting scar was virtually invisible. The next time I had basal cell carcinoma on my cheek I went back to him. This time the cancer was much deeper so he had to take out much. It was a very emotional time for me. When he was done I had 17 stitches in my cheek. When the scar healed you would not even notice it! He is an artist and a perfectionist. I wasn’t looking for a friend to hold my hand and make me feel all warm and fuzzy … I wanted the best results for my face. He did not disappoint me. I always recommend Dr. Kaufman.

I had a really good experience with his office staff, they are all so nice. He seems to be a very good doctor. BUT, he is in and out as quick as possible. I had to ask a question as he was walking out of the door. I felt like I was bothering him by being there. He is not a very warm doctor. I gave him 3 stars, because at the end of the day, he look care of my problem and his staff was very nice. But if I was rating him on how he made me feel, it would give him 1 star. I like to feel like I matter when I go to a doctor and have a doctor look me in the eye when he talks to me.

As a retired doctor I know with certainty when an office is trying to schedule unnecessary appointments. This office is mostly interested in your wallet. The doctors and nurses were slightly paying attention to the condition and more interested in giving me a sales pitch for more proceedures. Don’t even think about going here.

I have been treated twice by Dr. Kaufman for basal cell carcinoma, once on my ear (2008) and once on my nose (2013). Mohs and reconstructive procedures were performed in both cases. The processes are professional and efficient. The results are extraordinary. Dr. Kaufman is an amazing surgeon and his staff functions as a well-​trained and dedicated team. I have the highest level of confidence in this medical practice.

I was a patient of Dr. Kaufman’s for quite sometime and everytime I walked in there I always felt like I was just a number in their file. Dr. Kaufman was always rushed every time he came into see me. His nurses always did more of the work than he did and were more attentive than he was. His front office staff (Billie) in particular was always so rude every time I called and in person. She is really the main reason why I stopped going to see him. I am very disappointed in their office.

Still not happy with the way it was handled but after much complaining, they did look into it further. They also did promise to not send this to collections. Paid the balance over the phone and if I can get hold of my old WAMU check proving I paid this, they said they’ll refund. Still, not happy to get a 2 year old bill with little understanding.
