My newest favorite salon. Soooo happy I tried out this salon. I had the works done this morning.
First, Sandy threaded my entire face and got rid of all the peach fuzz. She shaped my eyebrows to perfection. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Then, she permed and dyed my lashes. She did an amazing job and I am thrilled.
If you have ever been nervous to perm or dye your lashes, trust me, get over the nerves and do yourself the biggest favor by getting it done. You will not have to curl your lashes or wear mascara. You wake up looking glamorous.
After all this, I had highlights and a haircut with Diva. I am THRILLED. My color looks great and the haircut is awesome. She really knows what she’s doing with color and styling.
The prices at this salon are FANTASTIC. I feel like this salon is the best kept secret in town. I want to share the love and encourage others to take advantage of this gem of a salon that we have here in Thousand Oaks.

I typically get my waxing done here and it is done very neatly such that i dont need another session for next 5 weeks. They r careful while dealingn with different skin types and do a great job of making the process quick n painless !

I live in Moorpark and have been going to a place that is literally down the street from my house for my Brazilian waxes. One day, I needed a wax and could not get an appointment at my regular place, so I went on the lookout for a new place. When I called 5 wild hairs, they were able to get me an appointment that day. I have gone to this place twice now for Brazilian wax, and both times Sandy did a great job. Not only did it hurt a lot less than other places I’ve gone, but Sandy was incredibly thorough both times I was here, which is most important for me. Whereas I have had complaints about missed hair at other places, this was the best Brazilian I have ever gotten, including the über expensive honey Brazilian waxing spas I used to frequent in Santa Monica. She is very sweet and gentle also. I felt very comfortable with her. The service was reasonably and comparably priced, even cheaper than some others in the area. Thank you Sandy, you have a new loyal customer.

I got my eyebrows threaded here for the first time last week, and WOW. So happy with how they came out. Usual price is only 8 bucks but I got a 2 for the price of 1 groupon. Will definitely be going back.

I liked being able to walk-​in, & everyone was super friendly. However, my eyebrows were way too thin after the threading and the whole thing hurt much more than the place I usually get my eyebrows threaded at. My search for a good eyebrow threading place out here continues.

Moved into area and searched and tried various threading places and this is hands down very professional and reasonably priced place to go to. I leave pleased and appreciate them helping me grow my eyebrows out evenly and love the tinting. Highly recommend.

Been here twice now for threading and eyebrow tinting. Sandy makes the shape of my eyebrows look even and clean AND, because of the tinting, I don’t have to pencil in my eyebrows anymore! A huge time saver. They do a great job and the price is extremely reasonable-​$ 8 for threading and $ 15 for tint. This is my new fave local place to tame my wild brows. ;-)

If you’re like me, you’re weary about who you let threads your eyebrows. I had been going to several different Layla’s location and was unhappy with the hit or miss results. I found this gem just down the street from the Janss Market place. I brought my Mom in today and they did an awesome job shaping and tinting! I’ve been happy with the results every time. Thankful for this salon and their great service!

Got my eyebrows threaded for the first time here and she did a great job. It’s a very sensitive area so it does hurt a little and made me tear up slightly. She was as gentle as possible and went slow since it was my first time. Very happy with the results!

Sandy & everyone else are always so friendly. Always feel welcome going into her store. I always leave satisfied with my eyebrows. I’ve gone to so many places & never have I been so pleased.

I LOVE my hair color and cut. I had Diva. She took her time and she was a professional. The color was $ 80 because I required a little more color because I wanted a beautiful red color. The hair cut and style came with it. She also gave me some coffee and cookies, I felt very comfortable. The head massage was awesome as well. I’ll be back again. Thank u!

Love my eyebrow threading here. They are kind, welcoming and always do a good job on my brows. The price is right!

I’ve come here three times now. The prices for threading are great (don’t get me wrong) but my eyebrows are never even when I leave.
I first gave this place a try in May 2012, left with half of my brows taken off, and the right side significantly more curved than the left. I had to walk at CLU (graduation) with heavily drawn brows to try to even it out.
I tried it again twice in 2015, the latest being in October 2015. Same results. I’d recommend the Oaks Mall’s place for better results. However, the price range here is much lower.

I was looking for a salon in the Simi/​Thousand Oaks area and found 5 Wild Hairs on Unilocal.Service was great, they were fast and the price was good. It is hard to find a place that does a good Brazilian wax, Sandy was great! So happy!

I would have never known this salon was here if not for Unilocal,despite the fact that I drive by it regularly. When my old threading salon moved to Agoura I was searching for a new local place and the Unilocal reviews brought me here. I’m so glad I gave them a shot because not only do my brows always look amazing, but the prices are very reasonable. The women working are always friendly and shape my brows perfectly! I’m so glad to have found a consistent brow threading spot.

$ 8 for threading is the best deal in TO. Sometimes they even have groupons or coupons floating around. I’ve been here twice and each of my threadings were discounted off the already low price. The wait usually isn’t long at all. The staff are very friendly. They get you in and out pretty quickly. I will be back and would recommend this place to others.

This is the best place I have ever been to for Haircut and threading. I find it very difficult to find good salons in USA and this has been one of the best discoveries. I left all smiling ear to ear. Sandy makes you feel warmly welcomed and good. And she is great at threading!
And oh my god I Love Aliza! She is soo great. i wasnt sure about what I wanted for my hair but she made it so easy and nice! I feel pretty: D And totally worth the cost! I would definitely go there again and again. You all should too!
