I was a patient of Dr. Leo for 5 months. He is very rude to his patients. He also makes people come in every single month for their prescriptions at the cost of $ 340.00. I feel that this a a great deal of money just to have your prescriptions filled. Patients who come to him are either on disability or have limited incomes. Thankfully I have found another great physician who gives me 3 months ahead of written prescriptions to be filled when the last one has expired. I had been given the wrong prescriptions under another person name twice. The 1st time I drove an hour to see him, and hour home and another hour returning to set things right. Another problem is the billing department. Matter of fact, I have been struggling with them recently as I was charged for an appointment I canceled. Once again, Dr. Leo’s bedside manners need much improvement. I have never in my life met such a rude physician. Not worth the cost. Seek out another physician. I would also like to share this information: I spoke to the billing office today as I thought I made all my payments to Colorado Pain Mgt. I had an outstanding balance. What I discovered was this. When you go in for you injections and pay all that money you are under the impression Dr. Leo’s charges are included. They are NOT. The billing department informed me that they have asked several times that a patient is made aware of this. By NOT disclosing this information which I think is deceptive, you end up with a big balance which is stilled owed to Dr.Leo. I hope that by providing this information helps others when attempting to figure out why when you had made a payment you still have an outstanding balance.

Dr. Leo is fantastic! trust this man. He has some of the most all-around knowledge of medicine I have ever seen. He has a sense of humor and he expects you to comply with what he says– but that’s real doctors for you. He will heal you. He will talk with you about options you never thought about– that WILL work!

Not quite sure why a physicians office will not take self-pay, even when offered to pay for services up front. Called to inquire on services, receptionist said she would answer my questions asked me to hold — I was put on hold for 15 minutes then transferred into voice mail. I called back and spoke with another woman, told her I had some questions about their services. The first thing she asked is if there was insurance. They do not take self pay patients, no explanation as to why, and annoyed when I asked if there is someone they could recommend that does. I am sure they have a reason for their policy, but the manner in which I was told was a complete brush off. Guess they just don’t need the business.

Typically I would not give one star since I’ve dealt with a different doctor in this group(Peter Reusswig, and he’s ok). Yesterday I saw Paul S. Leo from this group for a follow up from facet joint injections. I don’t expect all doctors to have fantastic personalities. The end result is what matters. Leo was not only rude, but abrasive. Upon meeting him, he did not introduce himself and simply said, «Yo.» He only asked if I had signed an opioid agreement. When I said I wasn’t sure he typed on his computer for a good ten minutes. He finally stopped typing and asked about past surgeries. I was crying due to pain and frustration. When I mentioned I had tear duct surgery he said, «Apparently that was a success.» No offer of a tissue. My husband had to leave the room to find me one. He continued typing and then asked how I felt about chiropractic. I told him I have a chiropractor but have not used him since the torn dicks in my back. I asked if it would be a good idea since I don’t want to exacerbate my condition. He said, «I don’t know. I don’t give guarantees.» He finally lifted each of my legs in the air and determined the problem was my SI. I asked if another injection would help and again he said, «I don’t know. I’m not a wizard.» Because I was crying he told me I was not ready to do that anyway. I rebuttled that I’ve already done it twice. My husband asked if ice or heat could be helpful and for the third time he stated, «I don’t know. Whichever.» Notice the doctor’s profiles in this group. Everyone states their credentials. Leo states nothing.
