Tickets are cheap, food was not great, but fine for movie theatre food. I did have an issue with the pitcher of beer I ordered. There was a lot of foam on the top… I mean a lot. It seemed to annoy the server when I brought it to her attention. After about 15 min, the server finally came back and gave me about 3 oz of beer in a pint glass to make up for the foam. It looked ridiculous, and I felt like they were trying to save cost rather than take care of a guests needs. More and more theatres are offering good food and good drinks, so cinebarre should step up the customer service if they intend to keep up.

Service is slow, but I highly recommend the adult milkshakes and Rosemary’s Baby truffle popcorn!

I’ve been to this theater about 6 times and generally have a good experience. The staff has always been pleasant and the food usually pretty good. I’ve resigned to the high food prices as the tickets are only $ 6 on weekdays. One thing I’ve noticed is a few times I’ll look up the schedule on the website or fandango a few days before to plan with a friend only to show up and find the movie times have changed. Also, when I have had service issues, it’s always on weekend evenings or newly released movies so the theater is busy. If you come during slower times and get there about 20 minutes before showtime, the service is usually great.

I would recommend you save your money! It took 20 minutes before anyone took our order and we had to wave them down for that to even happen! We got fried pickles for an appetizer which came with our dinner instead of before like an appetizer is supposed to. The pickles were a very small portion and were very cold. They tasted like they were sitting out for a long time. My husband and I both got burgers and they tasted metallic. 14 dollars for lower grade burgers then McDonald’s! The fries were the only bonus. To top it all off, The lobby is blasting music and every time the«servers» open the door you hear the bumping music instead of the movie you came to see. Overall it was a huge waste of money! You can spend fifty dollars on food at a decent restaurant and go to a better theater. I highly recommend you do not waste your money here!

Ugh. This was our first time to this Cinebarre — we thought we’d give it a try since we didn’t have time to go to both dinner and a movie, so this was to be a great way to save time but do both! We walked in and saw the long line at the ticket booth, but luckily used Fandango so went straight to the ticket-taker. We walked back to the theater and immediately upon entering noticed there was a very strange smell … it was like a mix of ketchup and old food that had been sitting out for awhile …? We also noticed there was a huge gap between the seats and the«table», which was kind of strange. Anyway, sitting down and looking at the menu, we also noticed that this food was EXPENSIVE. Wow. The appetizers were all about $ 10 each, and the entrees even more! We got two appetizers and a Coke, and it was $ 29. That’s a lot — and no it was not very tasty. What was worse was that I wore a winter coat and my wife was in a winter parka. Throughout the movie, we both FROZE. I’m not usually cold in theaters — and while she usually is, this place was just freezing cold! Either they forgot to turn on the heat or just didn’t care, but it really made it miserable. After the movie we walked out and saw there were some people in the bar area outside each theater, and walked past a guy who looked like he’d come in right off the street, enjoying an adult beverage. Props to him for finding a place to come in to get out of the cold, but not the best ambience for a date night. We won’t be going here again, and I’d just recommend taking the time to go to a real restaurant and a real theater.

The poor service is mostly due to chronic understaffing, the new normal in American business models. When we arrived, no one was manning the ticket queue, and there was no note telling folks to come to the bar to buy tickets. When we figured it out on our own, the service was slow… Why… Guy serving drinks was also selling tickets. Waiting in line, I actually went on fandango, and purchased the tix, just to save time at the counter once I got there. Before the movie started, nature called. The restroom was filthy. The stall with tp… had commode covered in dry #1. The stall that was passable(relatively) from a health standpoint, had no TP. Fun! To be clear, every employee Interacted with was polite, i think I only saw 4 employees in the whole place.

Got food poisoning of lemon wedges. Probably wouldn order any food from there either if the lemon wedges are bad. Had to call in a few days of work. Ruined a couple pair of underwear and bed sheets. So all in all cost me about $ 700. It’s ridiculous that you can get that sick off ordering a drink.

*** Just go to AMC dine-in instead! Waste of time, money and you’ll just leave really bummed out!***

the food and service are not good. Slow service, raw chicken wings.

Primary focus was to watch the star wars movie. Two major problems. Right at the ending of the movie when you’re trying to pay attention and focus the waitress comes and stands right in the way demanding payment. Solution, either take payment up front or at the end, not in the final part of the movie. This was the ultimate reason for the negative review because of the huge distraction. The second issue is the people next to me ordered chicken and it was served raw three times. Serious problem here if you’re serving raw meat and put people at risk for food poisoning.

Being able to order drinks is awesome. although you pay for it. The fried pickles app we ordered were terrible however. If they can’t serve good food they should bail on the offering.

Quite an experience to be served dinner before and while watching a movie! Same new movies as all the other big theaters, but only $ 6.(I used to think they only showed old movies, like the Elvis Theater, but that’s not the case.) The cookies and cream milkshake is a must :-)

This was the first theater I went to that had the in-theater dining, and for years it was my hands down favorite theater. But then we moved to Aurora and Movie Tavern was right next door. Sure, the food wasn’t as good, but the tickets were cheaper and the seating is the most comfortable ever. Then the Alamo was built, and that provided another dining theater alternative with a truly excellent menu. For these reasons, I hadn’t made the trip up north to go to Cinebarre in several years, but we recently made a couple visits. Boy, this place has really gone downhill. On both visits I asked for a medium rare burger and was served well done. On the first visit, I had them send it back and got a nearly identical burger 10 minutes later. The second visit, I just ate my burnt up yet cold burger in silence. The food was edible but in that«bad bar food» kind of way that in no way justifies the $ 10 – 15 price tag. The benches were dirty both times, too. Clearly, there’s no reason to travel across town for this theater any more.

This place is awesome because the movie tickets are cheap on the weekdays, the food is a little pricey because I guess they make their food from scratch but it’s worth the price, it’s really good.

This place was pretty cool, though we ate before we came so I can not rate the food. We were looking to kill sometime before our flight, so we popped in here for a movie. They have a full bar, and a full menu. Waiters come to your seat, and provide you service throughout your whole meal. Also movie admission is much cheaper than your regular theater, and I am guessing that is because they want you to order food & drinks. Definitely going to have to pop in here again before we head to the Airport so I can see if the food is actually legit.

The Cinebarre is great! I rarely go anywhere else for movies. It’s never crowded, the food is delicious, and comparatively the price is awesome. I go almost weekly. At least monthly. And the staff is always friendly and accomodating. :) Nice job! 5

Yes this place is kind of rundown, smelly, and a bit creepy. However, for the price and the availability to be serve food and spirits this place is awesome. I often come here with my boyfriend and friends because it is close to home and the ticket price are $ 6 during the weekdays(half the price of normal movie theaters!!!). Also, on those days the place is not overwhelmingly crowded. The servers here are genuinely nice and I never had issue with service. Plus, you shouldn’t come here base on service because it is a movie theater not a fine dine restaurant. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend the rosemary baby popcorn. It is beyond addicting; popcorn seasoned with rosemary and truffle oil.

I really like being able to eat dinner and have a drink while watching a movie, but service at this Cinebarre is really hit and miss. We’ve had times where our order was taken but we never received our food, other times we order popcorn as an appetizer and it comes out after our dinners. Or we go to a matinée in 95 degree heat and we have no air conditioning and no ice cubes in our water(at least my wife’s beer was cold). Silly stuff like this happens to us all the time here. A few small improvements and the dinner and a movie experience would be much more enjoyable.

My experience at Cinebarre was an AWESOME one! My boyfriend and I went to watch The Avengers and had a blast. It reminded me of an old style movie theatre with an awesome feel. All of the employees had tattoos which I thought was great. Service was awesome at the bar but slow inside the theatre because of course there’s a ton of people. I love the price tag on each ticket around Friday & Saturday nights because its $ 6 a person. AMC24 charges a ridiculous $ 10 per person. Overall, I gave it a five star!!! Will definitely be returning repeatedly. :))))))))

I’m a little torn on how to review this place. The theater projectors have always felt dim and sometimes lack the crispness you’d like to see when you pay to see a movie, however… several nights a week the tickets are only $ 6 which makes it feel more appropriate. I’m not really into the pub-restaurant-styled fare they offer(preferring light and healthy options) so I opted for the ridiculously large baked potato. All I can say is that the texture was oddly dense bordering on slimy, whereas I prefer mine light and fluffy inside. Perhaps they steamed/microwaved it instead of baked it? Regardless, I’ve chosen to forego food in subsequent trips. The condition of the theater was reasonably good overall and the ticket line has always been fairly short. My only other suggestion is that, unless you have children of your own, avoid Monday nights like the plague. Kids eat free on Mondays and even the most adult themed movies will have people with a slew of ornery, wriggling little ones in attendance. If you DO have young kids, Mondays are probably perfect… but PLEASE don’t bring them to my psychological thriller, try Disney or DreamWorks down the hall ;)

I’ve been to a number of theaters that serve food while you watch your movie. I found this one to be sub par to others I have visited. My low rating is based on the food and food service not the theater itself. I found the theater to actually be very nice. It was very clean and well decorated. It had plenty of seats as well as a large screen. The tickets were a great deal at $ 6 for new release movies M-TH. The funny thing is that there were no ticket takers and a sign saying that the servers would get your ticket stub inside the theater. No one at an point checked tickets. If your dishonest you could potentially get a great deal here. When our server arrived she was very nice and did a great job. Unfortunately they had multiple people serving us and the first waitress who took our order seemed to be the only person that knew how to do her job. Even though they mark the orders with the location of the order none of the people delivering the food could seem to figure it out. While the movie was playing you could see and hear waiters wandering aimlessly asking people if it was there food and trying to figure out where the food went. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza about 15 minutes before the movie began. About 30 minutes into the movie a waitress showed up with a chicken salad. I then waited about 20 more minutes before my pizza was finally delivered. It was stone cold and it tasted like the last mediocre BBQ chicken pizza that I got from the frozen food aisle. Also another person in my group ordered a water to drink with her pizza. That never arrived the entire movie. Given my experience I would say go to this theater only if you plan to have a drink or eat pre packed candy like skittles. Otherwise eat before hand and take advantage of the cheap ticket prices in a nice theater. P. S. Even though the website specifies that its an adult only theater, they do let in children. I don’t mind the children, but if they bother you be forewarned.
