Food, I have had everything on the menu, and it is all good. A couple of winners in my book are the ½ pound hamburger and the Philly cheesesteak.
Great jukebox and live music.

The Best Burgers EVER!!! If you want a greasy burger then this is the place for it. The kitchen is cooking as long as they are open. I love this place. It is really out in the middle of nowhere. I’m pretty sure that Pancho & Leftys is Hare, TX. They have two pool tables and a backyard. I have been there on different days and sometimes they have a singer or a small band playing. Usually inside. Also, if the beer is on tap it is domestic. It doesn’t matter if it is an import or not. In the summer they have Landshark on tap. I will miss having some living close. However, I will make the drive up from San Antonio just to go to Hare, TX

Pancho & Lefty’s is the north sides version of Cindy’s Gone Hog Wild — a great biker bar destination with a huge dog friendly backyard, good bar food and lots of beer and FUN TIMES!
I DO NOT drink beer at all hardly ever maybe once every 2 years. But P&L has Leinenkugel Honey Weiss on draft!
And Tater Tots!!! Deep Fried shredded potato cubes perfectly seasoned!!! fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside!
We shared a BLT with a fried egg sandwich and a grilled P&J — the over easy egg yolk ran into the fresh tomato and lettuce and crispy bacon on toasted bread and the grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly at only 2.25 needs to be on more menus!
Inside the ceiling is a chalkboard!
FYI cash only and no wifi or cell service Sat and Sun they open at Noon for breakfast.

My husband and I took a group of eleven adults and 2 kiddos to Pancho and Lefty’s this weekend for a surprise dinner. We e-​mailed Mike, the owner, about the Big Kahuna burger well in advance of our visit. (give at least 24 hrs notice) The burger is huge! 8.3 lbs of goodness.
The staff was incredibly friendly and we had a blast. The deal is if one person can finish the burger within 3 hours, you get the burger for free and get paid $ 100. Needless to say, all 13 of us did NOT finish the thing!
Burger is roughly $ 35 and fries are $ 2 an order.

This place is a beer joint that has food. The food is pretty good, probably the best restaurant in Hare. I think it is the only restaurant in Hare!
I had the bacon cheeseburger with fresh cut french fries. A ½ pound burger with all the fixings. My partner had the cheesesteak sandwich. The cheesesteak is made with pepperoni. Really good. He also ordered some onion rings. I think the rings were from frozen, but were actually good for frozen.
Drinks are served in cans/​bottles. As I said, this place is a beer joint. Minimal dishes.
We got out for under $ 20 and were full and satisfied.
FYI — No Credit Cards. No Wi-​Fi. I didn’t even get cell phone service!
