I had one of the ignorant staff write me some hate feedback TELLING ME IF I DON’T LIKE THEIR FOOD STAY WHERE I BELONG IN ILLINOIS. I didn’t even mention that I was in a group of four, I was the ONLY one daring enough to try the grisly food, and our ticket was $ 84.00 for lunch buffet. The other people I was with made me pay for that crap meal and then we ended up going to a steakhouse where they paid. Ignorant staff serving GARBAGE for food. If I could give the place a ZERO or a negative ten I would. The sweet tea was good. The Place really is dirty and disgusting.

Down south grub. Sugar salt and fried food. This is what the south is made of, several restaurants that serve highly seasoned veggies and fried everything.
I thought it was good not great like Paula Deen but still a place to grab a bite of southern style cooking.
Place is not dirty and disgusting as I read earlier.

Delicious Southern home cooked food! Especially love the Dressing, which is available on Wednesday & Sunday! Chicken Salad on Salad Bar is very good!
Before my Dad passed away, this was one of his favorite restaurants! He loved
the Fatback on Sunday! The Peach Cobbler is my favorite dessert at Ivery’s!
Great place to eat, when you are very hungry! Easy to over eat there! :)

Wow, the food was great and I didn’t get sick but this place is beyond just a «hole in the wall». It’s downright a Chinese buffet that needs remodeling. Oddly enough the bathroom was better looking than the dining facility. I can eat at places like this but I can’t say I’d send my city friends here. That being said if you want a good homecooked meal and don’t care what the restaurant looks like (missing floorboards, bad paint job and all), then I can recommend you this buffet. It’s cheap and a local favorite. I loved the broccoli casserole. Mac was okay. I’ve had better. Fried chicken was good. Everything was good like Thanksgiving!

Great southern food for great price. Chicken was flavorful and and peach cobbler was full of cinnamon. Only thing was I missed out on collards and Mac cheese. Turnips were very soggy and didn’t need to be chewed at all.yuck.

Ivery’s has great southern soul food! I love the fried chicken, mac n’ cheese, butter beans, etc. Eveything is served buffet style and the menu lineup changes slightly from day to day. Complete menu is available here:

Ivery’s is a delightful experience with Southern foods done right in an all you can eat buffet style lunch. Delicious fried fish, collard greens, and hush puppies among the delights on offer here made from fresh foods. Lots of deep fried foods so come hungry! 5.99, or 7.49 depending on the day.
