Have the Savannah Banana! Great. Everything else is also very good. Tough to find a bad meal in Thomasville for that matter. All places are really good.

Neat little café in historic Thomasville. Very good breakfast. Had the Country Benedict which was awesome. I would definitely recommend.

We had a large group, about 8 of us. The server was rude. She almost seemed like we were bothering her because we were there. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. We had two coffees that were not good. At $ 5 a pop, they should be perfect. Overall, won’t go back. My entire group was not happy.

I was going to get the Tomato Bisque but I just had it that morning. Really inconsiderate of them… The Chicken Pot Pie was great. I loved it so much. I had that same dish once at the Paula Deen restaurant in Savannah and that had a bit too much butter. This was perfect, I really like it a lot. The Savannah Salad it came with was also quite tasty. I’ll probably go here every time I visit Thomasville now. Although I have yet to try Liam’s. Great and friendly service. Although I will say that the bathroom was very tiny. It’s probably the smallest one I have ever been in.

Really enjoyed this restaurant a lot. Great food, pleasant atmosphere and a wonderful selection of desserts. It is small, but we’ll worth the wait. I will definitely return again!

Oh my gosh! This place is sooooo yummy and service was awesome! We had croissant club sammies and they hit the spot and tasty pickles. So glad we stopped here

I came in for a Tuesday brunch. The décor and atmosphere is really nice and exactly what I expect when visiting such a quaint city like Thomasville. The service was great: friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with mimosas which were divine. I ordered the garden omelette and I have to say it was one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had! My fiancé ordered the hash and corned beef breakfast with a side of gravy and he couldnt even finish it(which is saying a lot because he has an insane appetite!) All the ingredients were fresh, prepared perfectly and packed with flavor. The espresso was decent and a perfect compliment to the meal. This establishment is a gem and I hope they experience a great deal of success because this place is top notch! I already cant wait to come back!

I was super surprised by Savannah Moon! The décor is nothing to be excited about and they layout is pretty poor. It was one of the only restaurants open on December 27, when apparently most restaurateurs in downtown Thomasville took an extended holiday. The burger(the special of the day) was one of the best I’ve tried. It had chipotle cheese, grilled onions and peppers and served(interestingly enough) on ciabatta. The chicken salad was also delicious and they even let me try a scoop of it before I ordered, since I am picky about chicken salad. Nice assortment of options and good service.

Not sure why more folks don’t go here. Sure it’s small establishment and the menu may not be extensive but the food is awesome. Don’t get desserts(tin roof pie sold me) if you’re on a diet, cause you’ll eat it all. Chicken pot pie was delicious too, ate the last one of the day! I go out to eat to enjoy the experience and company I’m with not to have my food rushed out to me. If I want instant food then I go to fast food places and sacrifice quality(maybe that’s why I don’t eat at FF places) for service. Anywho, to each his own you need to try this palce at least once and draw your own conclusion.

We used to eat here a lot, my wife and I. Now, not so much. The food was usually very good, but the service and wait often made it not worth it. I have an issue when management doesn’t provide better service than its employees. As a tip, if someone is in line at the register don’t turn your back to me. The deserts are always great and worth the premium charged. Soups change daily and that is a good thing because that is the only variety they offer.

Menu is a bit too limited and I had a hard time finding something that suited me for lunch. Pasta I ordered was sitting too long and it was cold on top and hot underneath. Desserts were delicious. The cookies, especially, were wonderful. I’d go back, but just get bakery items.

They accommodated our large party with only a minimal wait. Service was friendly and lunch was tasty. They managed to serve all 10 in our group at nearly the same time. We had an assortment of items(wraps, salads, sandwiches) and no complaints from anyone. The only slight disappointment was that they have only one choice of soup each day and it was chili when we were there. It would be nice to have one constant soup like chicken noodle or something standard plus a daily changing soup offering.

My mother and I visit Thomasville about twice a year, and this is our favourite place to have lunch. Sandwiches range from being okay to great. But desserts are outstanding and portions are generous. On a cool autumn day it’s lovely to sit outside under the trees on Thomasville’s beautiful downtown main street. Service is fine but sometimes you have to grab their attention as they’re usually busy.

Eh. It wasn’t bad, but nothing to write home about, either. The portions are a little small, the food was a tad on the bland side and the service was okay. The price for 2 lunches & drinks were $ 26(without tip), pretty pricey for what we got. My wife said that the prices seem like a NYC bistro, not a South GA café(she would know since she’s from NJ). Overall, I doubt I’ll go back, there are probably some better restaurants in the area.

The Friday Night Dinner Club decided to make a midweek getaway to Thomasville for lunch at Savannah Moon. This is a quite charming café(their description) that I’ve come to be fond of. My preference was when it was first opened, and had scant décor. It’s slicker now, with art on the walls and(drat!) matching furniture! So much for eclectic decorating. Seating is on the limited side, and we’ve seldom visited when there wasn’t a wait for seating, and today was no exception. But it IS worth the wait. The wait staff is prompt and friendly, a point I appreciate in today’s restaurant atmosphere. Today’s special was egg salad sandwich with choice of side. Who makes an egg salad sandwich anymore? This one was dressed with bacon, tomato, and lettuce. Sided with the Savannah salad, it was pronounced very good. My partner ordered the chicken and artichoke sandwich with potato salad. Since this has become one of her favorite sandwiches, is it any surprise it was rated very good? Ed ordered up the hot pastrami. It seems to me that Sav Moon has reduced the portions. I remember this item with much more meat. At any rate, it was good. I started with the soup, Brunswick stew. I make a damned good version. The soups at Sav are prepped in house daily(try the crab chowder if it’s on menu — delish!), and the soups I’ve had have been way above average. Today, however, the cook fell short. What I received was a beef and vegetable soup that in no way resembled a traditional Brunswick stew. Maybe they do it different in Georgia. It WAS a good beef veggie soup, but not at all what I had in mind. I chose the Reuben for my entrée, and sided it with potato salad. The Reuben was a bit thin on meat and sauerkraut, but had more than adequate ‘Reuben sauce’(Thousand Island dressing?). The potato salad was bland, just potatoes and mayo, I think. It cried out for some help in the flavor department. I’d do the sandwich again but opt for the side salad. All in all not a bad visit, and I’m sure we’ll go back. Try the Beefernickel, beef and herbed cream cheese on pumpernickel bread. Mmmmm…

Daily fresh baked goods! Great coffee and sandwiches, too. Unfortunately, the service is spotty and the atmosphere nil. Needs to maintain consistency in service and atmosphere
