Very disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Had the chopped pork which was fatty and had no flavor. Slaw was good but beans bland. Also saw bugs crawling on the sauce bottles which killed my appetite. I’m from Memphis so have high standards for BBQ and afraid this is just not very good.

This is our first time eating here, We drove over an hour from Tallahassee just because of the good reviews. And We were not disappointed! My girlfriend and I shared fried pickle chips and they were some of the best pickles I’ve ever had. Then she got a half rack of ribs and they were falling off the bone they were so tender. And I got the beef brisket. It was so juicy and tender, exactly what brisket is supposed to be. And our waitress was amazing, she kept checking on us every few minutes and we never had to ask for a refill. The only downsides were the baked beans were a little flavorless, and the Mac and cheese was more on the cold side but still delicious. Overall we left very happy and very full. I feel another road trip to this place coming up soon.

Best bbq from Tally to Memphis and Charlotte. I travel a lot… And in my travels I usually search for the best BBQ. This place is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. 9 times out 10 I will go with the pulled pork platters, but the very professional server recommended the ribs so I went for them. They were outstanding. No extra sauce required, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. Delicious. The pickles came as apps were also appreciated. Lately the sweet tea was also sweet but not overdone. I recommend this place over most places between here Memphis and Charlotte. If you are here you need to try Fallin’s.

Authentic Que! Really tasty! I had the Philly Steve(burnt ends with cheese, onion and green pepper). Husband had the ribs and said they were as good as the ribs we had in Austin Tx! That is saying something because we are in love with Texas bbq! I noticed a lot of locals here so that is a great sign! We almost ate ourselves sick! All the sides were awesome but especially the corn nuggets(fried cream corn nuggets). Amazing!

Absolutely delicious!!! I had burnt ends with Brunswick stew and collard greens. The burnt ends melt in your mouth! The sides were just as delicious. If you are ever in town this is a must try!!!

If you’ve read my other reviews, you’ll know that I recommend a trip to Thomasville for great BBQ. Fallin’s is the place I’m talking about when I say this. The meats are all outstanding, as are the sides and salad bar. Looking for this type of food in the Big Bend area and you can’t go wrong with this joint! Especially excellent when you consider that the owners are from the Pacific Northwest!

Good bbq and very friendly staff! :-) variety of sauces so you’re sure to like one. Try the ribs, they’re fantastic! :-) they were out of banana pudding so it must be good.

The is some of the best BBQ, I’ve even eaten! Best smoked turkey hands down! I normally get the Turkita, and smoked turkey sandwich on garlic bread served with your choice of sides. Fried pickles are great, half order is plenty for 2 people. Daughter gets the BBQ boats for dinner, Potato skins with pulled pork and cheese on top. Every trip to Thomasville requires at stop at Fallin’s! You will not regret it!

This is a really good place. I enjoyed it quite a bit. You can tell that it is locally owned. They aren’t flashy or trying to be. Just a normal restaurant that sells the best food they know how to make. I went with my friends, and we shared our food. The Brunswick stew tasted like beef vegetable soup — which is not necessarily a bad thing. I just expected it to be a little different. The collard greens had a good flavor. Not overwhelming, but a light vinegar taste. A solid option. The chopped pork was really good. Had a good char and good smokey flavor. The burnt ends were actually burnt. Which is what you want in burnt ends. The sweet tea was legit. They make their own sauces. And they had four different ones to choose from. One was mustard based. One was a «hot sauce.» One was«regular.» The other was a mild. I could not tell what the base of the bbq sauces was. But they had a distinctive zing to them. It was familiar but I couldn’t place it. Either way — they were really good. The banana pudding was seriously some of the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Overall, I give it 4*. It was really good, but it didn’t blow my doors off. I’d definitely go back and enjoy it.

My unborn child was craving pulled pork like nobody’s business, so we trekked up to Thomasville to try Fallin’s. My husband got the half chicken with fried mushrooms and the salad bar and I got the pulled pork with grilled broccoli and the salad bar. I wish they would pick different lettuce for the salad bar because the gigantic pieces of iceberg were a bit unruly but their toppings were varied and fresh. We liked that the salad bar could be one of your side items with no upcharge. My broccoli was a bit oversalted so I didn’t eat it all. However, our entrees were absolutely spectacular, hence the 4 stars. No complaints there. His chicken was juicy and my pulled pork was delicious. I have had dry pulled pork in the past and was afraid of that but nope not in the slightest. Highly recommend. Unborn baby is satisfied. Their portions aren’t huge. We are not huge people and felt it was a reasonably sized meal for a person to healthfully consume, which is different than a lot of barbeque places. Happy, not stuffed. OK I’m done now.

12÷3÷14 I’m glad I stumbled on this place. I ordered the beef brisket plate, with sides of onion rings & Brunswick stew. The beef was excellent. Cooked just right — almost falling apart on the fork. The regular sauce was a bit tangy(is vinegary a word?) for my tastes but still good. Spicy sauce is just the regular with a splash of hot sauce added in. Sweet sauce tastes almost exactly like store bought BullsEye. I still dipped but the brisket really doesn’t need anything added. It’s just as good with no sauce. Onion rings were traditional beer batter. Good, but not a large portion. The Brunswick stew was another good find. Great flavor, big pieces of pulled chicken & beef. I even ate the lima beans(did you hear that mom?) which I never do. Even in my wife’s awesome chili I set aside the beans. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Thomasville. UPDATE: 4÷23÷15 Came back for more. This time I ordered the Turkita(thanks to other Unilocal reviews) with a side of loaded fries. Outfreakingstanding! The turkey was smoked to perfection; nice & tender with great flavor. I don’t know when or if I’ve had better. Loaded fries were, well, loaded. Steak fries covered with bacon & melted cheese. I prefer skinny crispy fries but these were still excellent. Sweet tea was very good. Too much sugar ruins it for me, but this was just right. For after supper, banana pudding, again due to Unilocal comments. And again I was not disappointed. Tami was very friendly & provided excellent service. My only complaint is that I ate too much. You guys at Fallins have made me a customer for life!

It was the best bbq everything i have had! What made it amazing was the customer service. Our waitress was informative, attentive, and endearing. This family owned restaurant is one you have to try. The owner came out and even asked us how we enjoyed the food. I had plenty of leftovers to take home as well! The homemade sauces were also unique and family recipes handed down! Go here!!! I cant wait to back with friends!

Fallin’s is an institution in Thomasville. It’s been in the same family for as long as I can remember. I started eating here in the 1980’s. The Fallin’s are good people. On the outside you will note an outdated old building and the inside is probably worse. The help may be a little squirrely and the clientele can be a little low-brow. Get the porkita first of all. It’s a sliced pork sandwich on buttered texas toast with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Then add the house BBQ sauce. Highly recommended. The fries are the thick«steak house» style. Baked beans are good. They will give you a little bowl of pickles as free appetizers. They serve chicken, pork & beef BBQ and all the traditional sides. Give them a shot if in need of a super-casual BBQ joint
