Cook Out

I love this cookout and the people are wonderful and the food is always great! The only complaint I have is that the milkshakes are super inconsistent. I order the same Shake everytime and it’s never the same as it was the time before! Also, the cashier John is sooo cute #cougarontheprowl! No complaints there! Will definitely be back! ;)

Food is good but my order is never right and the portions are inconsistent and just plain lame at times.

I can’t give an in depth review on this Cook Out, but have hit the drive through here a ton for milkshakes. The service for me has always been fast and friendly at this location. I’ve not had any issues and their milkshakes are my favorite dessert. I will continue to frequent this location.

I love cook out’s burgers, shakes and fries. I would have given them a 5 but it is hard to get in and out of the parking lot.

I’m threw with COOKOUT!!! The food is consistently great but the service sucks. Its been a year since my last visit and the service hasn’t changed. I’ve called and complained and it does no good. I consistently get someone else’s order. It always sounds like a party going on inside when I order. There’s just a bunch of kids working there with no adult supervision. There are several fast food restaurants in Thomasville with equal quality and much better service. Seems funny that the home office is in the town that has the worst restaurant. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Cook Out seems to stay busy no matter where you are & what time of day it is.
Milo & I were headed home home to Mooresville last Friday night & about 8 PM I was starving at craving Cook Out. Thankfully, their billboards on the sides of the interstate are always helpful.
They’re pretty much right off 85. Getting in & out was a bit troublesome. And the lines on both ordering sides were long. I waited a good 5 – 8 minutes before I could even order.
Upon ordering, it didn’t take long for me to get to the window to get my food. I did get in the line where the window was on my passenger side, so it was a feat to get my drink & food.
Parking is limited should you choose to use the walk up window.
My burger, hushpuppies & corn dog were all hot & delicious. My Cheerwine tasted perfect, too.

Good fries, burgers, and shakes. Try a burger «cheddar style» or «cook-​out style». This location is really good. Fast service and the employees are nice. Cook-​Out has some of the best milkshakes! Banana and mint oreo are my favorites.
This location is conveniently right off of I-​85 in Thomasville.

Passing through on a road trip and wanted to break the chain. The line was wrapped around the building. But we had to park away because of a car topper. They had a walk up window… Life saver… The menu was complete… Something for everybody… The combo meals are the best value hands down. Glad we made tey stop

DRIVE THRU ONLY! I was half way through my twelve hour drive and all I wanted was a nice place to sit down and relax and enjoy a delicious meal. When I saw the sign for Cookout, I thought it would be the perfect stop. However, much to my dismay, I arrived to find it only to be a drive-​thru. I even walked around the building twice just to make sure. It was the biggest let down of my entire life and it ruined my whole trip.

I adore cookout. I never thought that I would ever find a fast food joint that I liked better than chic-​fil-​a until now. I love it so much. My bf always raved about cookout but I had no idea it was that damn delicious.
Driving through North Carolina over the weekend I spotted one and I had to stop in. I ordered a ¹⁄₈ cheeseburger and a combo which came with a drink, chicken wrap, and a bbq sandwich with hot sauce and coleslaw on it and we chose onion rings as a side. I ate the cheeseburger first and it was the best I have ever had. It reminded me of childhood bbqs which were so fun. I finished it in about 2 seconds. I cringed when my bf asked for a bite. The bbq sandwich was perfection and it reminded me of why I could never give up pork for anything in the world.
The combo and extra sandwich came up to $ 6 dollars, a complete steal for the quality. The next time I’m in the area I am going to try the hot dog and milkshake. I hate road trips but am looking forward to the next one just so i can get my cookout fix.

Consistently good! I drive from Lexington as we don’t have a cookout restaurant there. The tray combos are a great deal. And definitely the best fast food corn dog!!! Staff is friendly and efficient.

One of my frequent stops on I-​85 in Thomasville. Gas and grub! When you get hot fries, you can’t help but be happy. Service is quick and friendly. I really like it when they tell you to take your time and let them now when you’re ready to order. After all, at times, I want something other than a burger! The food is good and the lemonade and milkshakes are delicious. My only complaint, the parking lot is a bit strange…
