Heading down to the NC Transportation Museum and stayed overnight for 1 night with my husband, parents, and in-laws. We booked our rooms through priceline and had a nice experience. The staff member at the front desk was very kind and accomodating. While I know they don’t have to grant your requests when you book through priceline, she was able to give us 3 king rooms next to each other. Personally, I’m not a fan of the sink/mirror setup outside of the shower/commode, but it seriously is not that huge of a deal to me. The breakfast was a typical hotel continental breakfast and the young lady attending to the breakfast area made sure everything was constantly being refilled and the area was clean. Should we ever return to the area and need a place to stay, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Quite possibly the best comfort inn I’ve ever stayed at. Comfortable beds, really nice pillows, modern décor, no funky smells, and an amazing(for a hotel) continental breakfast. There was scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereal, juice, and coffee just to name some of the items. Very impressed!

This location has me torn. It was quieter and has the façade of being a solid location, but it was the details that really made this stay difficult. Perhaps it once was a great spot and now it’s only mediocre? I chose the location because it was in the area I needed and they had guest laundry. There was a ladybug infestation in the room that I stayed in. It wasn’t minor. They were both dead and alive, so I had some difficulty failing to understand how the dead bugs had not been cleaned if the room had been stayed in anytime recently. The toilet also failed to really flush and instead I had to go to the lobby to use that restroom. As I suspected, the front desk individual also commented that she was aware of the ladybugs before she put me in the room. Yes, I asked for a corner unit, but how that would supersede putting a guest in a known room that has an issue is baffling to me.

Standard Comfort Inn. Bed was fine and there weren’t any problems with the room. I asked for an «upper floor away from traffic». Recieved a 2nd floor room of five floors. Warning: 3rd floor is partially smoking. Went there for a soft drink. The entire floor wreaked. If you have sensitivities this may be an issue on other floors. Breakfast was standard w/scrambled eggs, sausage, and hot biscuits. Also, had waffles, cereal, pastries, etc. Very nice staff. Would consider returning if in the area again.
