I really do enjoy Culver’s, but the Mequon location has some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a fast-food restaurant. If you substitute anything (say, easy on the lettuce or no tomatoes), you can be sure you will get double lettuce and tons of tomatoes. Other Culver’s don’t seem to have this problem, but for some reason the Mequon location just can’t seem to hire the right people.

I asked for a milkshake and expected it to be made with custard like most other custard stands but watched them use a shake mix. The manager did make me an original milk shake but this process is misleading.
A malt or shake should be made with ice cream or custard, not a pre mix

Great service and amazing interior. The culvers in mequon (this one) is way different than the one in Brown deer. This one has nicer tables and chairs and better service. The chicken tenders are really good along with the fries. I recommend the grilled cheese and custard the next time you are here.

A great place to grab a delicious burger. Other favorites are cheese curds, chicken tenders and bbq sauce to die for and of course the custard. Only con is its very expensive for fast food but its leagues away from your common fast food places, for the quality of food is pretty damn high.

We have always had a great experience here. The workers are very friendly and the food is great. If you, or someone in your family has food allergies, they are really good about cross contamination here and even have an allergy guide on the counter. Has made it a great quick place to eat for my child with soy and wheat allergies. She still gets to enjoy fast food and ice cream thanks to this Culvers.

Nice, clean, and relatively new location that always has friendly staff.
It’s a Culver’s so you know what to expect and the layout looks similar to the other locations.
Overall, a good place for a butter burger that is better than the other fast food joints in the area.

Well this place gives a good price for burgers and baskets.
Sometimes the burgers are awfully flakey and thin, but other times they are nice juicy and thick.
It seems that the flavor of the day is turtle A LOT! Not sure if this is a Culver’s thing or a Wisconsin thing but it’s a repeating flavor.
They offer some other choices like chicken sandwiches and tenders, but the burgers are the best.

Hey what’s not to like? Culver’s has taken everything I love about Kopp’s and made it more accessible and more local. Great milkshakes, excellent burgers (they call them the ButterBurger — you figure it out!), and good fries. My primary calling in Milwaukee is Kopp’s, but Culver’s makes for a fine substitute…
