Dr. Fayaz spends plenty of time with his patients and explains things well and in terms you can understand. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Fayaz for my surgery back in October 2014, when I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus and was told I needed a Shunt implanted to relieve the pressure. I was very lucky as he was highly recommended by my daughter (who is a nurse) we seen two neurosurgeons and after talking with Dr Fayaz it was an easy choice deciding who I wanted to do my surgery. He is so nice to everyone and his staff is the same. Highly recommend this neurosurgeon.

When I first met Dr. Fayaz I was amazed at just how much time he spent with me, explaining what was going on with my spine and what the options were to get me back to health. When I asked that he explain the same to other family members he spent quite a bit of time making sure everyone fully understood everything and explained it at a level we could understand.
So after many hours of complex micro surgery and a few months of recovery it still amazes me that I have local pain, or any indication that I went through some pretty intrusive work. This is a testament to his skills.
