We interviewed and visited several orthodontists in the area. Our initial consultation was good, great service, very thorough, etc. They answered my questions thoroughly, and I was satisfied with the staff’s politeness. Well, I regret ever coming here. They are understaffed or need help with their scheduling! Getting an appointment for broken brackets or wires is almost impossible unless you want to wait a week! If you have a student good luck getting an appointment after school, because they don’t save them for students! You will have to pull your kids out of school for an appointment bc the after school appointments are far and few between! (That means taking off of work too!)
Once, after replacing a broken bracket and applying some build-​up the bracket fell off along with the build-​up even BEFORE we got home! Of course I called back and no one answered. I left a message. I never got a return call. I called in the AM (after waiting 3 hrs for a return call that never came) and the lady I spoke with made every excuse in the book as to why the bracket fell off (including stating it was my child’s fault) finally I said «Well whoever installed it needs to be fired for incompetency!!!» Her reply was «Well it was Dr. Pratt, she did it and it happens alot… sometimes there’s some moisture that wasn’t thoroughly dried before we apply the build up!» Ugh so frustrating! I THEN had to WAIT another 5 days before they could get us in AGAIN to repair their mistake!
Another thing, their financing is great — 0% (who wouldn’t pass it up?) In hindsight I should have just paid it! They have POOR record keeping! After changing credit card companies, I called the office to change our my number on file. A week later, I get a call stating they were trying to charge my card and it wasn’t going through. I asked which number they had– my old one! I gave my cc number again. Well low and behold I just got ANOTHER phone call (three weeks later) indicating my CC number wasn’t valid. I asked which one they had and guess what it’s still the old one! I have no clue what they did with my new number (TWICE!) Poor record keeping! Avoid this train wreck at all costs!
