We came on a Saturday night, it was very crowded and there were several birthdays going on. It is BYOB and most parties were walking in with a few bottles of wine. We were seated at a nice table and handed menus that really needed to be wiped down, they were sticky and dirty. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, I found the sauce to be rather bland but the hubby loved it. We ordered the XL Specialty pizza with everything on it. Great sauce, fresh ingredients, I wish they would have kept it in the oven a tad big longer because the center of the crust wasn’t was crisp as the outside. We took half of this pizza home and it reheated very well in the toaster oven the next day. Hubby ordered a side of meatballs with marinara, again the sauce tasted fresh and well seasoned. We will definitely order pizza from here again, but probably a smaller size so the crust can be more evenly cooked.

This is my wife and I’s favorite Italian restaurant. I recommend you try the stuffed mushroom appetizer, its the best I’ve ever had and make sure you save some of the complimentary garlic rolls they give you, so you can dredge it through the sauce they serve them with. Pizza is excellent, its «New York» style. We’ve also tried several other entrées and have never been disappointed, everything seems fresh and high quality, I like how the veggies in their dishes are always full of flavor and crispy.

They are very clean and their food is all very tasty I come once a month with my kids we enjoy it, it’s not fancy inside but there is nothing wrong with that, it’s good to have a restaurant that’s not stuck up and all that now a days, I respect this restaurant a lot.

Ordered the lasagna… very delicious. The marinara sauce is sweet, the sausage and mozz just perfect. The table rolls are doughy, tastes like homemade. Very good place for Italian and not too expensive. Service is very attentive. Nice people. Not fancy inside but the food is worth it!
Tried the Alfredo sauce and not a big fan.
Calamari mare was very good!

Worst place to order pizza from. Half the time they don’t have a delivery driver. They also will forget the little things like an extra sauce. The recent experience was 10÷31÷15, ordered 2 pizzas. When we got them one was wrong, understandable, mistakes happen. It’s when they will not fix the mistake is where this place get a bad rep. They would not make a new pizza or refund the money for the one wrong pizza. Can’t expect to keep customers this way. Last time ordering from this place.

Food was very good and fresh.
. Restaurant was very neat well thoughtout and intimate.
Service was quick and friendly.
The menu is classic but with every meal is alot of options and you can make it unique to your liking.
Downside is they have a large number of regulars and did a pretty crappy job with ensure all tables were attended to as much as the regualrs.
I’d go back =)

So I called and asked about this $ 20 deal that Unilocal is advertising and the man that answered says, don’t use Unilocal!We don’t recommend it, it’s not good! So don’t use it! Lol I couldn’t help but laugh, he needs some customer service. I think there might be a language barrier? Well in that case I wouldn’t let him answer my phones, especially if he’s the cause of losing business. Lol I chose not to order anything since he couldn’t understand me. Sad because I wanted to try this place.

Very very rude man answered the phone and didn’t even want to help us or take our order. We will never call them again or go there. O well Buca di Peppo is awesome. Not sure why I didn’t call them first.

This is a locally owned Sicilian restaurant. BYOB means you can’t go wrong with the wine selection! The food is always fresh, and always good, made to order. A more European dining experience meaning they are not rushing you out the door so they can turn the table. The owner, Al, is a delight… making sure your food is fresh and delicious. They also have a party room that can hold up to 40 people… or Al says if you need a bigger space he can seat the «regulars» in the party room and have your event in the main dining room. Stop in with a bottle, or two, sit back and enjoy the food, the wine and the company.

Maybe it’s because I come from a «foodie» town or simply because I’m from NY where we have «proper Italian» food but this place simply didn’t do it for me. It is near my friends place where I was staying so I agreed to let him order, we got lasagna, ravioli, & garlic bread. It was all just kind of meh… it was acceptable for takeout. The sauce lacked depth of flavor, the garlic bread was a little soggy for my taste, it could have been toasted nicer. Overall in a pinch I suppose I would agree to it again, but it’s not my first choice. I could easily make better at home with a can of tomato sauce and some herbs and a bag of frozen ravioli.

I have been here a few times and always enjoyed it, so today when a group of friends were planning to go I was excited. I was a bit late, and others were already eating their salad. The waitress came as I was getting seated to deliver bread, and didn’t bother taking my drink order. It was at least 20 minutes later that she came back. She took my drink order, but when I tried to place my food order she said, «I can’t keep coming back to this table to take orders.»
WOW.
I won’t keep coming back to this restaurant. I will take my business to places that want my money.

The food is decent, but this earned a one star due to the service or lack thereof. I don’t feel I should ask for a refill during my meal, but I am a reasonable person and can usually let this slide. However, if I have to ask for a refill and a waiter takes his or her time bringing me the refill, not so much. It appears the waiter was personable and attentive to his regulars. Moral of the story: I’m an excellent tipper so don’t assume otherwise because you will get exactly what you give. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

After seeing 4-​star on Unilocal,we decided to try this place out for the first time.
We regretted this decision immediately. We ordered Chicken Marsala, Chicken Prima & large pizza. The food by all means was definitely below average. The average being your local Italian franchise food. Both Pasta dishes were served with thin noodles with thin cut chicken. The pizza was best of the three and even that was mediocre. The service was okay. The waiter was clueless at recommending anything. For what you get, I would rate this restaurant pricey. I had way better quality Italian food in the neighborhood for the same price. I am certainly surprise to see this place has four star on Unilocal

I came with a wedding group before rehearsal for dinner. It was an early dinner at 5:30pm on a Wednesday and the place was pretty empty. I got the Chicken Piccata with capers, white wine & lemon butter sauce. It was kind of drowning in the sauce. The service was fine, maybe even on the slow side considering there weren’t really any other people there.

Worst service ever!
The hubs just called to order a pizza to be delivered. As soon as the guy took our address and found out we lived in an apartment in Austin Ranch, they quite mysteriously had a $ 25 minimum delivery (we tried to order a large 3 topping). Really??? The 2.3 miles was just too far to drive? Can’t be bothered to ask for additional details so you don’t have to wander around looking for our CORNER unit???
Needless to say we love our pizza and will never… EVER give these super sucktastic chumpanzes our business.

Not fancy, but good value and decent Italian. The Canoli is stuffed fresh, and the ingredients seem fresh. The owner is a nice enough guy.
If you’re looking for something tasty and don’t want to drive to Addison, or just want a quiet place to get some good food… this is your place. BTW… BYOB
