USPS

I have been calling them all day and no one answers the phone!!! I am trying to pick up a package but don’t want to drive all the way there with small children to be told I need to wait till tomorrow. Ugh so irritating… Pick up the phone or get a answering machine!!!

I called to make an appointment with the passport office as the door says you can only come in by appointment… When I called the number nobody answered and I got a voicemail during working hours and never got a call back for an appointment. I called the next day and the lady says the next appointment is the end of February. One month from now. I asked her if you get a rush on your passport how soon can you get it and she says four weeks. So I went to another passport office, no appointments needed, all you do is fill out and turn in your application with pictures and copies of your ID. Why you would need an appointment I have no idea. Also I learned that if you put a rush on your passport you have it back within days and online USPS claims to send you your passport within three weeks. I am filing a complaint against this lady because imagine how many people walked away thinking they couldn’t get their passport in time to travel. Thank God, I had gotten mine before and was only getting one for my son and husband and knew that I got mine within three weeks. I don’t know how they get away with this stuff.

Fairly old building but the staff has been helpful and friendly the few times I’ve been here. They get the job done.
