Had the BEST tasting club sandwich and seasoned fries I’ve ever had. Super yummy and friendly service.

I love their biscuits and gravy… love it. The kids enjoy the pancakes, and my wife loves their breakfast burrito. Staff is always very friendly.

Wonderful fluffy pancakes, eggs over medium done perfectly, and good tasting sausage. A great place to come for breakfast.

Delicious food and the service was exceptional. Management came out regularly to check and see how the meal was. Explained to the manager how confusing it initially was when we first entered and did not know whether to get a seat or wait to be seated. The manager said that he would be making a sign and placing at the front of the door so other customers would know to seat themselves. Good to see and experience quality customer service. Will definitely return for the food, service, and see if sign is placed at door.

Biscuits and sausage gravy = tasteless. Won’t order it again. Service fair. Seemed to be understaffed.

The breakfast is so good! My husband and I had eaten at the original Shy Katz on the island and were so happy to hear that one opened up closer to us! It definitely did not disappoint! Just as yummy! We would recommend the Pawpaw breakfast with potatoes(cooked to perfection with some wonderful spices!), eggs, bacon(perfectly crisp but not at all burned) and a homemade biscuit(fluffy and full of flavor)!! The pancakes and French toast as also AMAZING! I will admit that the TC location isn’t quite a cute as the Galveston one, but as long as the food is the same, we are happy!

We went to the Texas City location for brunch today. We walked in and did not know if we were supposed to wait to be seated or just grab whatever tables are ready, I thought it was the same concept as the original location in Galveston where you place an order then grab a table. Here, you sit where you feel like. We waited a few minutes until someone from the back showed up. The waitresses are not as friendly and she brought my ticket a minute after she brought my food. She didn’t even ask if I wanted something else, refill perhaps or the homemade desserts? Maybe the folks in Galveston can train the TC waitstaff for some good customer service skills. When I paid for our food, I gave her way over the 20% tip and she was shocked, she knew she did not deserve that. Happy new year lady! Thanks for a lousy service. At least my boys enjoyed their Mickey Mouse pancake. Will definitely NOT be back.
