This is a small meat market but the sausage here packs a mighty punch! I’ve been coming here for years and they remain consistent. They have 4 different market made smoked sausages and I’ve tried them all except for beef(I don’t like the taste of beef sausage). These babies are huge! The pork & beef is the best seller and it’s great warmed up as is, barbecued, or in your favorite recipes. The jalapeño is just as wonderful and has the right amount of kick to it. Now as for the Cajun, all I can say is eat it at your own risk. It’s SUPER hot and they almost need to have waivers like some of these wing places have. I’ve tried eating it alone and I just can’t. I think it’s best cooked in seafood boils, or maybe beans. Aside from the popular sausage they also have a few meat packages but the variety is not as large as some of the bigger meat markets in Houston.

This place is a small hole in the wall kind of meat market in Texas City. Their Cajun Sausage is worth the drive though. This is some of the best sausage I’ve ever tasted before. Apparently they make it from scratch and add their own spices and what not. But definitely recommend this place cus of its sausage. I haven’t really tried any of their other meats. But I’m guessing it’s overall good.

They do great work. I have all my meat processed at 9th street meat market. They do a great job and have plentiful of meats on display for the customers. The staff always greets everyone when they come in, just like family.

Good meat package selections and offers a variety of rubs as well as other assortment of goods for a bar b cue to dinner. Bring cash, because there is a surcharge for using a credit card. Not much, but can be an annoyance. Overall, you will enjoy the experience.
