Linna Donuts

While visiting my parents in this area I noticed this little donut shop. I went in to grab some for my kids. It was 10:30 so I already assumed all the good stuff was gone or it wouldn’t taste as fresh but I was not disappointed. I chose 4 glazed, 2 chocolate frosted, 1 plain cake and saw what looked like filled donuts. I asked the counter guy what were they filled with and he says, Nothing. My first thought was, That is cool they serve round glazed donuts. He then says, you see we don’t fill them until you order them because there may be 2 lemon left and you want strawberry so we solve that problem for young filling them in demand. (Genius!) I ordered a strawberry filled that my daughter shoved into her mouth satisfactorily.
What took this place up a notch was that before he closed my box of 8 donuts, he threw more in because, It looks better to have a filled box.
The donuts tasted wonderful and they obviously had more to offer like crossaints, kolaches, muffins, breakfast sandwiches and more. Growing up in that area I know people prefer Shipley’s but please keep this place in mind. I will be visiting again when I am

I’ve gotten donuts and kolaches here a few times that weren’t anything spectacular. But today… Omg. I had the most delicious thing ever. The strawberry iced donut was amazing. It was light and airy and just the right amount of tart to balance the sweet. I feel like I could have eaten about 20 of those since it was like eating airy sweet deliciousness. Keep up the good work and I maybe stopping there daily. Haha

I love their kolaches, breakfast taco’s and donuts. They are also very friendly folks, family run.
