Great place! IK the manager is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are essentially extended stay, meaning they service your room only once a week. They have very fast wifi, a clean gym, and free washer and dryer usage. They don’t serve breakfast but they do have a mini mart in the lobby. Most rooms have a kitchenette so if you’re there for a while you might want to pick up some groceries. The hotel is located right off 146 and in a great location, surrounded by grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants with the Kemah Boardwalk only 25 mins away! Very friendly staff and hard working folks. I’ll stay again next time I’m in Texas City for a while.

Stayed 2 nights after Christmas. The place is clean, neat and the staff very friendly. The rate is a good deal but the amenities are SLIM. There isnt a breakfast, no ice machines except for the ones in the refridgerator, no swimming pool, no rollaway beds and the coffee is horrible. Overall though the place is safe quiet clean and affordable but its very basic.

We have stayed here two times. Both were on Saturday nights before a cruise on Sunday. The prices are always great, especially compared to the rates on the island. The hotel is awesome. It’s always very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Our son likes it because there are free movies to rent from the desk. The rooms are spacious and include a fridge, microwave, silverware, plates, and more. Lots of channel options on the tv. Parking lot is big, and never crowded. Location is decent with easy access to grocery stores and fast food. Only thing I wish this place had was continental breakfast, but there are plenty of cheap places nearby. Free laundry is a plus, also. You will be very satisfied with this hotel. We plan on staying here before every cruise. The drive to the cruise terminal is about 15 minutes or so.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is generally friendly but the rooms fill up fast because of the refineries in the area. The staff refused to help me print a .doc file since their business center computer did not have MS Word installed. I mean really, in this day and age for a computer not to have Word or Excel is egregious! The drinks and sundries in the Candlewood«pantry» are also way over priced. $ 2 for a 16 oz soda, $ 5 for a frozen TV dinner, and $ 1 for a packet of 2 asperin is robbery. Whenever I am in the area I will stay at the La Quinta down the street and get much better service at a better price.

This place is just fine. The staff is friendly(sometimes overly so). The rooms are clean, spacious, and affordable. The suites are stocked with a microwave, refrigerator, plates, silverware, and pots. The downstairs pantry also supplies free coffee at all times. This place was perfect for my 2 week stay in Texas City. My qualms with this place are few– no free toothpaste and no free breakfast. No thrills, no frills, but it suits its purpose.
