Tlc Burgers & Fries

This is a good place to eat. I’d recommend it to anyone. I enjoy go my for a burger and fries once in a while. I enjoy being downtown so this is a spot I try to go to once per month or so.

My cousin and I are in town from central Texas and a friend told us to eat here. Delicious, flavorful burgers. And their fries have a Cajun spice added to them. Different, but delicious. Staff was friendly. Old fashioned, homey feel to the place. Thank you, TLC!

Saw the good ratings on Unilocal,decided to give it a try. It’s a counter order type place. Ordered the hamburger with mushrooms and grilled onions, and a side of fries. It only took a few mins to cook it, must be a hot grill. It was served on a small paper plate, no problem.
The burger was pretty good, the fries were good too, I liked their seasoning. I’ve had much better burgers for the price. Not a 5 rating based on some other super great burger places. Nice people.

TBH, nothing really fancy or spectacular about this place. It’s just a regular good old burger joint. And I think that’s what I liked about it. There isn’t much going on but that’s what I was told to expect, a greasy burger and some darn good fries.
When you walk in it looks like something pretty ordinary. Just some benches and chairs. Albeit the little swivel chair I sat in cradled my back and was REALLLL comfortable. Like cradling my back for reals! You walk up to the counter tell them what you want, they ask you if you want mayo/​mustard, then what toppings — they have all the usual plus I guess a relatively recent addition is sautéed onions and mushrooms. I WANTED MUSHROOMS but I saw it later. Anyways. Then you pick up your burger about 3 – 5 minutes later and then with the tray that has your burger, slide it down cafeteria style towards the fries. Grab either a little paper bowl thingy or a hotdog styrofoam thingy and load it with as many fries and red river sand which is their specialty rub dry pepper thing. Go to the register and pay. OH! wait. the drinks. After you pay you slide down a little further and they have the regular coke drinks, (including strawberry fanta!!) and then they have three tubs of deliciousness. Sweet Tea, Unsweet Iced Tea and Lemonade. Check it out. MM!
If you don’t know what’s going on it can be a little gAH but it seems simple enough. I love me some five guys and it feels like a greasier five guys. The burger is pretty big.

Simple, amazing burgers. The kind you’d expect from an old fashioned burger joint. And I don’t know what they put on the fries but they’re amazing in their own right. This place has great food for a great price.

Wow, a burger mecca. Perfectly season, classic, homemade style burger. Fries were fresh cut and seasoned with red river sand to perfection. Best burger I’ve had in a long while. If you’re in the area this place is a must.

A 5.0 rating… relative to burger joints. That is, I’m not comparing them to a fine dining steak house, rather for making the best burgers in the area! A must visit when I am in the area.

Hard to find a better burger anywhere. Fries are fresh-​cut and seasoned with their famous Red River Sand. Reasonably priced.

Take your immune system back to the past and enjoy one of the best burgers you ever had. Outstanding eating experience and fine people serving you. The place is a keeper.

I was in Texarkana on business and checked Unilocal for a place to eat lunch and chose TLC Burgers. The food was very good and fresh. You start out by going to the back of the building to place your order to the guy that prepares your food. He hands you your burger. Then you move forward to the french fries and help yourself to as little or as many as you can fit in the basket. Move up a little further to pay and get your drink. All the staff were friendly and the cook even asked me how it all was on my way out. Overall great place to have lunch. Price for bacon jalapeño cheeseburger, ff’s, and drink was a little over $ 9. I think it was priced just right.

This is one of those places where you bury your face in your burger and don’t care what you look like doing it. Then you do the same with the fries. Everything is so good it’s ridiculous. I go every time I’m in Texarkana.

Best burger joint in Texarkana. The seasoning on the fries is awesome! I always buy some to take home with me.

GREAT HAMBURGERS!!! Located in downtown Texarkana, TLC has been serving up burgers longer than I’ve been alive. Try the chili cheese burger… and be prepared for alot of burger! The fries were extra crispy, and they have plenty of condiments scattered around the place. I don’t recall their hours of operation, but try to go after 1 pm. Not alot of people there. And you can leave your own mark on the wall before you leave. ENJOY!
