Great place for meeting up friends and family. Their drinks are really good and services are fast too. Place is clean and well organized. Highly recommended!

Such a cute little place and feel so comfortable to be inside. The owner was super nice and sweet (same as her chocolate and gelato) ^_​^ Nothing is bitter, not even the coffee or espresso! They are all suuuper duper sweet! (a little too sweet for me). If you are a fan of sweeeeets, this is your paradise!

Excellent truffles and chocolates. Good gelatto (and only real option for it in Texarkana).

Super yummy gelato. Flavors change every week so it’s never the same Flavors over and over which they post on their Facebook page so you don’t have to search everywhere for them.

This place is just wonderful. Nice, clean and wonderful gelato frappes. If you have a frappé here, you will realize what those chain shops (read Starbucks) give you in the name of a frappé. A place worth visiting if you are passing through Texarkana! Looking forward for another visit next time we pass though this town.

Met Denay, the owner of Taste and See. She was very kind and talked to us in detail about the gelato and chocolates.
We got salted caramel gelato and stracciatella/​chocolate gelato (you can get two flavors in a bowl!). Also got a Breve (espresso with half and half) and a Henry Weinhard’s root beer to-​go. All of it was excellent and if I’m ever back in Texarkana you can expect to see me there!
We got some fudge on the way out and I expect it to be just as good as everything else we had.
Edit: fudge was amazing and I wish we had more!

The coffee is quality and good black. Not too acidic (fresh).
Their beans are toasted locally and usually purchased within 3 days by Taste and See’s customers (per staff’s words) thereby ensuring you always have fresh beans.

Great people and great service. The candies are amazing but the gelato keeps my wife and I coming back. The store is expanding with a gift counter and a bunch of great gifts for, really, any occasion. Any time the wife and I go out for dinner we have to stop by Taste and See for dessert. All of their gelato is hand made and you can definitely tell it. I haven’t tried all of their gelato but all of the flavors I have had I have been impressed with. I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t touch on that, but I do have a major sweet tooth and their truffles are some of the best I have ever had. I’m really glad this place is striving, if you are from around Texarkana you know most things don’t stay alive if it isn’t a big chain, even if they are good, and this place is one of those Texarkana treasures everyone needs to support.

I was looking for a worlds largest gummy bear and a giant gummy cola bottle and I found both at a good price. I highly recommend their candy. When I went there I even saw chocolate covered bacon!

My wife and I love this place! They have small batch roasted coffee and organic herbal teas as well as gelato and gourmet chocolate. This is a family-​owned business and that is exactly how they treat you. A great place to go right here in Texarkana!

We have been to Taste and See more than a few times now. the coffee is awesome, and with the homemade gelato, and made by hand chocolates and goodies, a great place for a coffee and dessert. we will often drop by for that special dessert and coffee after we have been out to eat for dinner. they have punch cards for coffee and the gelato, so that when you reach the end, you get a free one.

There are a few times in life when you find a little piece of Heaven… well, this place is just one of those pieces! Our family travels around the country and we experience a lot of good sweets, but I have to say this is one of the best! We bought Strawberry, Salted Carmel, Coffee, and Chocolate Gelato. They were all GREAT! We also tried the Cheesecake And Double Chocolate Cupcakes, they were equally tasty. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this place;I highly recommend you stopping here, so you can experience this little piece of Heaven!

Trip advisor gives this place great reviews and Unilocal is behind! This was a cute little place with a friendly staff and lots of goodies from which to choose. Our family only had gelato. Four larges and one small and total bill was $ 23. Not cheap by any means but we don’t have homemade gelato in our hometown.
They allowed you to put five different flavors in the large and three flavors in the small. We tried salted caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, chocolate covered strawberry, cheesecake, and chocolate chip, and sweet cream. All were delicious. There honestly wasn’t one flavor I loved more than the rest – that’s why we all tried so many flavors!

This is the best gelato I have ever eaten. The sweet cream is great and the staff is super friendly. This is a hidden gem. If you want something sweet this is the place to go.

There are lots of selection of flavors for the gelato and differing types of chocolates. It is all freshly made on premise and you can usually see one of their chocolatiers or gelato chef making their treats right in front of you. Their gelato tastes amazing and is a lot healthier than ice cream.

Their prices on gelato is competitively priced and usually cheaper compared to ice cream stores like Coldstone or Marble Slab. Chocolates and other homemade treats are very reasonable as well.

Since the business is family operated I’ve had the opportunity to speak to everyone involved. They always have given me their undivided attention when asking any questions or explaining how they make a certain item. Upon speaking to their gelato chef, you’ll learn that he was sent out of state to train with award-​winning French and Italian chefs to learn his craft and that their other recipes have been handed down throughout their family from a previous generation.
Atmosphere: 5.0 Stars
It has a very modern and clean look to it from the moment you enter the doors; very comfortable. It has several places to sit and their TV had a college football game playing so I was able to see my Aggies play while enjoying Cookies N Cream gelato on a waffle cone. When little kids enter the store they immediately gravitate to the huge gummy bears they have for sale and then with hands pressed on their gelato machine, look at all the colors and flavors of gelato available. I’ve been in several times and children absolutely love it. I was told that the art hanging on the walls are from various local artists so it’s good to see a business helping out the community as well.

It’s a great local business that if you try once you’ll keep coming back. I usually stop in to get some gelato and chocolate milk at least once or twice a week. You can tell by their attention to detail in all their treats that they have trained hours to perfect its look and taste. Their gelato is healthier and tastier than regular ice cream and since it is a local business, supporting this business will help the community.
