The skirt steak was some of the best I have ever had. The chips they provide at the table were really good too.

I was told the salsa is good and it is. I ordered tacos al carbon. It tasted good. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. Décor and atmosphere was somewhat lacking. The prices were reasonable. I will return when in the area.

Customer service is non– existent here. Had an issue with a food item ordered for take out. The ‘manager’ practically called me a liar over the phone when explaining my issue. When we arrived to get our refund he was VERY defensive &RUDE and never apologized for the issue with our order. Even threw the receipt on the counter after completing our refund.

This place is awesome. The refried beans are seasoned with the best bacon/spices. The enchiladas have the perfect amount of chili powder and other seasonings.

I admit, it was not during rush hour but several of the staff were hanging around in the parking lot with their friends smoking and looking a little gangish. I understand comaraderie but honestly I had a moment of anxiety wondering if this same group was going to break into my car when I went inside. They didn’t but, you know that feeling? Meanwhile, at the entrance were containers of salsa that had been spilled all over the walkway and dried up and cigarette butts. If the staff has that much time to hang out in the parking lot why doesnt the manager look around and have someone clean up a little. We decided to order food to-go and took it to our hotel. Food, a tex-mex Chipotle style was good. No complaints, and they included plenty of tortilla chips and salsa. Really, this place would rate better if it looked a little more professional and like someone cared.

I love visiting TaMolly’s when I travel away from DFW. They offer a liberal gluten free menu and designate them with a special toothpick. It is true Texmex, which is what I like. The service is always excellent as well. All I had to do was glance at my drink, and the waiter brought me another. It is family friendly, which is fun for me as a solo business traveller. Enjoy!

Let me start by saying that I’m from San Antonio, and tex-mex is what we do. The chips are really good. I had the chili rielleno, and this was the first time I ever had one that wasn’t battered and fried, it wasn’t bad roasted but the meat was a little generic. All in all it was a fair place to eat

Not impressed with this chain tex mex restaurant. The food isn’t seasoned well and is served a mediocre temperature. With all the competition in the area there are several other better Mexican restaurants. I had the tamales, considering it was their namesake, and it was extremely mushy and the meat had a weird after taste. Steer clear folks. This place is easily forgotten.

We visited Ta-Molly’s, although it wasn’t to my ‘taste for the moment’ I have to say I was carried on a food journey though the SOUTHWEST with a chili con queso inspired dip, for starters. It lacked only a little bit of queso, to be perfect, beef flavors came out perfectly in the blend. On to the star, Ta-Molly’s Signature SW Wrap. I was expecting a firecracker of. Kick, but was delighted to find a sweet, little get-a-way with a hint of heat. Over all I say it was a great treat, with the bill around 32.00 for 2. Servers clean and friendly, a must try.

We visited this restaurant again while in town. Still no decent veggie options on the menu, but the waitstaff & kitchen always seem happy to make a special meatless meal. I highly recommend the burrito dinner stuffed with mixed vegetables(peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives) & topped with salsa & guacamole.

My son and I were driving through Texarkana on the way out of Texas and we really wanted to stop for dinner before it got much later. We’d never heard of Ta Molly’s before as there are none in the Houston area. The service was great; the waiter was very friendly as was the hostess. I’d read some reviews while waiting for my food and wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the chicken flautas and my son had the burrito el grande. I thought the queso was a bit salty but I loved the salsa that came with the chips and the flautas(2) were a decent size and tasty. My son enjoyed his burrito also. For those who compare this to Mexican food, it’s really not the same. That’s why they say Tex-Mex on the sign. It is fairly good Tex-Mex. Also, don’t blame the restaurant if they don’t sell liquor. Texas is odd and has many dry counties, or even just parts of counties. I have family members that live in dry counties though I don’t.

I landed in Texarkana on Friday evening and wanted to get some Mexican food and a margarita. I saw TaMolly’s and thought, hmm what could go wrong here. Well first and foremost, they do not sell Liquor! What the hell? Coming from California I am not use to restaurants especially Mexican restaurants not selling liquor. So I ordered anyway, I had Cheese Enchiladas, and a burrito covered in queso. The food was decent, doesn’t stand up to El Torito or even Acapulco Restaurants in LA. I was a bit disappointed wouldn’t recommend.

Bad food, and worse service! This is the worst tex/mex ever… Don’t even waste your time or money with this place!

Wednesday is enchilada night. Price is right. My favorite item on the menu is the Fahitas. You will not be disappointed if you order them. Well flavored meet and they are not skimpy on the grilled onions and bell pepers. Overall, food is excellent and chips are plentiful. One of my favorite restaurants.

Someone must’ve eaten some mexican TV dinners… this place reminds me of El Chico’s…(right now I am scratching my head trying to think of something positive to say about this place…)they have a parking lot. With lights.
